NiP and the Device-situation.
Gandalf |

As a fan of NIP, I have started to feel annoyed at how they have handled the Device-situation. It has been several months without any updates, and I think that as an organization with fans and followers, who spent time and money on them, they have a responsibility to give us some information. Eg: -Is he making any progress in his rehabilitation? -There are many rumors about him and other organizations, maybe it's time to comment on some of them? What do you think?

idk something regarding his health thats all we know
2022-03-25 11:11
He moved to Sweden and joined NiP to stay with his swedish gf. They broke up, he is heartbroken & realised NiP are a bunch of bots who will never win anything. As I said when he announced his break, I doubt he will play for NiP again.

as far as I knew, he was some of the time in sweden with his gf, but he didn't live there?

He did, he moved to sweden like few years (I think 2-4) before joining NIP

Narh - He still had an apartment in Denmark, there is a difference between spending your time in sweden and living there

It doesn't change anything, he can afford to have multiple apartments, especially when he can rent them. Yes, they are but not in this situation. He was living in sweden, not like he was travelling between denmark and sweden every week, that was one of the reasons why he joined NIP.
2022-03-25 12:14
that's not true because in practice he spent more time in Denmark than in Sweden anyway I know because friend of mine is his friend

How's that not true? I said he moved to sweden (cuz he did, u could see that on emilia's stream for example) and u say he practiced in denmark XD As I said below, they didn't practice in denmark every single weekend. Of course he had to fly to office sometimes (bootcamps, making content etc.) but most of the time he was in sweden. Very trustable source.

he was living with his GF in Sweden, but he always had to travel to Copenhagen to bootcamp / practice with Astralis so he decided to switch to NiP to stay in Sweden and then all this breakup thingy

Yes but they didn't have bootcamp/practice every week

They won rmr with dev1ce tho

yea, without NaVi and Gambit the 2 best teams at that time. Don't get me wrong, they were borderline top 5 team, but they never showed potential that they can really challenge NaVi for a Major or a Big Event.

Doesn't matter tho. It either way was t1 tourney, yeah it was for getting into major but it still got good teams, and nobody wants to lose either way. NiP could've bombed out and still would've been in major so there was less motivation for them.

No tier 1 teams, but tier 1 tourney. Makes sense lol

He had medical leave in astralis aswell before so.. Those are not the problems. Also his career is not out the window and nip is very competitive once he returns. And with brollan addition even better.
2022-03-25 13:16
He had problems with mental health

ty, hope it isn't anything too serious and (only) about his prob breakup hope to see him back at NIP anytime

Why comment on the rumors when device himself made a series of tweets regarding said rumors.

What would be the best NiP line-up with device and Brollan in your opinion?
2022-03-25 11:14

I'm not a huge fan of esetag, but if Brollan is suppose to have the same role as Plopski then I guess it's: hamus, rez, esetag, device & Brollan

It's been too long now.

" as an organization with fans and followers, who spent time and money on them, they have a responsibility to give us some information" It doesn't work like that xD Investors who give them huge amount of money can demand that but not someone who spend 60$ on their jersey

I understand that, but I still think they have a certain responsibility.

It's their internal issue. They have no responsibility to inform fans. I mean even some big sport clubs don't give those informations

Yea I get it. I would like to know as well but like I already said they have no responsibility at all to share it if they (or maybe device?) don't want to.

Not a responsibility, but something they SHOULD do for maximum profit. They are losing interest for handling it like this. I liked Nip, but not anymore because they're playing with noob standin forever and no clue when goat is back.
2022-03-25 12:54
I think he will come back for major, and if he doesn’t come back by then, then it is safe to assume NiP will -dev1ce

I'm a NIP fan myself. And I have to say, they gave some information about the situation. Mostly on twitter and also Device himself. They can't do much more The organization can't just disclose personal medical information about one of their employees.

Ah! I don't have Twitter anymore. Then its good :-). I don't mean that they have do comment the health or medical information, but I want to know if he is doing progress. Thank you sir!
