its so sad seeing CoL perform bad as well. i mean honestly its ridiculous. if anyone else watched the game, idk, but junior was missing easy awp shots and i geniunely think thye lost more 5v3s than they won. ago beat them in SOOO MANY 3v5s. it was actually ridiculous. other than that looking ok but it was tragic to see it happen and watch as AGO came back in.

??? He's been far from being the worst. They showed some good tactics and change of pace. They still need to adapt to how shox plays because like elige said, he's an aggressive lurker and he has a different style from any north american. Elige said nitro is also not 100% yet, he's been out of the meta for a ling time and says he's at 75% aboyt now and they will need 3-4 months of adaptation. Despise all that, they were able to hold against a winning faze amd g2 team and did well in their other matches. They can very well compete with other t1 teams.

Also elige said nitro is not yet at 100% as the meta changed a lot since he's been gone. He also said they still need to adapt to shox's aggressive playstyle. He said they need about 3-4 months before aiming at winning tournaments and at least aim for the top4 for the moments because if they dont, he thinks its a loser mentality.

Eg is basically a budget team, try to build on an old hype. I won't name a BR team who does that, but you can figure it out. Imagine if Furia was saying : "top10 is fine", Liquid won't admit that. COL was pure overconfidence.

Look at all those joke orgs like 100T, TSM, even EG, all about selling some merch and bootlicking sponsors more than actually competing. Liquid is the only exception, but then again Liquid isn't even an American org.

If something's from the US it's always about the money. But nonetheless the US scene seems to be improving which is nice and good for CS. But it gets rough when you think about their situation. At home they stomp some college teams at local tournaments then they come to Europe and their mistakes are being punished. But hey, they've got a couple of nice trades at least. I'd take that against NaVi.

The Chinese Cs scene is actually huge though. Huge casual scene but tiny pro scene. Imagine if Korea cared about Cs like they do about league or overwatch though. Even Valorant isn’t that big in Korea.

Doubt that. The game isn’t even dead. The casual scene is fine it’s just the pro scene that is lacking and it’s in a rebuilding phase. I don’t think Valve marketing cs in NA would do anything. If you look at Valorant, a lot of their community came from Fortnite, apex, league, etc. A lot of them their first fps game was Valorant. Na is a region where console is the main form of gaming and everyone follows trends. People will play whatever is trendy.

It's a mix of things that will help. Marketing alone won't do anything, but they have to really have to make the game more casual friendly. Just look at the new player experience, you get into the game and you're against spinbotters and HvH every game. You have to download a 3rd party software to even play against legit/good players

People mistake third party platforms as a way to get away from cheaters but they have always been to play against better players. I’m MGE in na mm and have no issues with cheaters. I think the cheating problem is pretty over exaggerated but I get they are out there. Every game has cheaters. I don’t know how you make the game more casual friendly to newcomers without completely changing the game. The noobs love Valorant because it’s dumbed down and easy. It rewards you and it’s a lot more forgiving than CS.

Better anticheat Ranked ladder, seasons Some sort of season pass so people don't get bored playing for no reason. NA players are bandwagoners and if streamers are playing the game, then a bunch of noobs will play as well.

A better anti cheat would be good but I think vac is better than what it is credited for. The ranked ladder would only be for the higher ranks so adding that for the noobs would be pointless. However it is a good idea but I’m pretty sure Faceit has one. It is a good idea though. Season pass is just another word for battle pass but I think cs can make some Changes to it to make it better. I know people who play games just for the battle pass because of the items It gives you. Aka r6 and Valorant Last statement you are spot on with. Definition of NA in games. It’s Valorant and Fortnite in a nutshell.
