This upcoming major feels weird For Stockholm we basically had a very long period before where teams were trying to always qualify and top each other. Lots of storylines that we waited very long time for them to conclude at that major. Now most lineups that will play at this major only played for like 3 tournaments (G2, Faze, Vita etc.) Shows how much covid fucked over us but also how stupidly contracts work where at the end of 2021 everyone was just waiting for it to end.

True. Which is kind of surprising because i thought by this point orgs would adapt around majors, not when the year is ending and people have to play in these dead rosters. But i guess thats how contracts work and nothing will change.

In the past, you just wouldn't have had this many events in December. So the Stockholm major would've ordinarily been near the end of the CS calendar. Schedule has just been overloaded recently thanks to ESL.
