imagine that you r fighting for Major and the score is 20-19. In that moment if you dont see c4, u may think that its somewhere on map or stuck somewhere, doesnt matter! you have to take your posation first then when you need to plant c4, you look for it. as Woxic's said; they relazied after Imorr's death (3vs2). You cannot blame EF for something happend first. ITS PGL's FAULT...

Exactly, it was 3v2, and rules state that the round cannot be replayed if the damage in the round was already done.

Rules are for normal cases, a glitched round is a special occasion. It wouldn't be replayed if it was a technical issue but it's not, it's a bug. I'm pretty sure rules do not apply to cases like this, otherwise why would PGL take that decision? Do you think people at PGL are EF fans or something lol.

Mate, thats like saying everytime someone gets csgo'd or cant shoot a planters head there should be a replay.
The rules are very clear, it's not gonna be any replay after damage is done.
No matter if u get csgo'd or the GAME itself has a bug.
If it was PGL who did something like every computer died, then sure. But this is a part of the game and PGL is not to blame so they should follow their own rules.
Now they didn't, which is weak and bad.

Getting CSGO'd is generally because of intended features as it's used for situations like missing a close shot because of movement inaccuracy. This was a round where Ts didn't have the C4 and we all know that planting C4 is the main objective. This is not a small bug that caused player model to be seen from a wall that it's standing next to; this is a bug that objectively gives a clear disadvantage to Ts like literally not being able to win.
We all know that round wouldn't be replayed in case of a technical issue but this isn't a technical issue; this is a game-breaking bug. Rules are clear but this situation is beyond rules, nobody at Valve goes around and says "In case of a game-breaking bug..." because, you know, for obvious reasons. I'm pretty sure PGL admins aren't EF fans, why would you claim that they didn't follow their own rules without any official announcement?

Not even close imo. This is a situation where the literal primary objective of the game doesn't spawn. This isn't, and shouldn't be considered, 'part of the game'.
There's already a precedent for this situation that happened at a pretty big tournament twitter.com/michau9_/status/151575409553.. and it was handled the same way

The whole point of our jobs as admins is to make sure the match is played out fairly. The serverlogs at the start of a round always contain the following line:
[player] triggered "Got the bomb"
A good server config would notice that straight away and reset the round automatically. If this isn't activated, it's on the admin to watch out.

How can you expect a referee form a distance to figure that the bomb was bugged ? You can't see that, only a player playing the game can figure it out.

what would you say if it was a more common tech issue like xantares disconnects from server? you would not still call for replay. The rule is that any tech issue after damage is done does not matter but PGL went around that rule

different cases I would say, this was not an "normal" tech issue, it was a game bug, 2 very different situations and Im not saying PGL made the right call, as I dont even think there was a clear one, unless there are proofs that EF knew about what was happening before damage was done or that they somehow were responsable for the bug occurring, doesnt mater what decision PGL takes, one side was always going to end at disadvantage

I agree with you that there was no right call. Very similar issue to the NIP v Anonymo in that sense. These situations someone is always going to get screwed. It just seems that EF got screwed by getting the bug but in the end Dig are the team that got punished by having the round taken away

This is such an obscure and rare occasion, if not even the players themselves noticed, then how would an admin notice that has to keep track of several players at once and all sorts of different scenarios.

You don't have an admin observing inside the server just looking for the bomb and if it has spawned in.

When EF ahead 20 - 19 on T-side, the bomb has not spawned. Dignitas killed all and won the round but the round was replayed.

You like the outcome or not, it took them like 40 minutes. They talked with both teams, probably checked the replays and comms as well. If the decision was still wrong after holding the game for fucking 40 minutes, it's all PGL's fault, not EF. People are being racist and mean just because they wanted to see EF lose, and now they are mad cus they won.

kinda true, what he says doh. Surely both teams agreed about the replay at that point. And lets think the round wasnt replayed: then EF would have a huge disadvantage, way worse than a replay, bc they wouldnt even have ANY chance of winning that round. It would have been a Round GIFTED to DIG...

Yeah it seems like a situation that people would realize, but you see pro teams forget about bomb even in situations where the bomb actually spawned so I can believe that they just didn't realize.
It's 5 players, so probably each of them thought that someone else had it and didn't think too much about it

-"Yay! There is no bomb did you see that? lets go ant try and if we lost we ask for repeat. Thanks god for giving us to this opportunity"
