Braindead take
He was being rushed down with a pistol and was forced to stand his ground, he didn't "peek".
The miscalculation he made was taking one step to the right, thinking Jame would go left, but Jame went right instead. By that point it was too late to run away since he only had 34 health and Jame was point blank with a pistol. The only option at that point in time was to stand his ground and take the AWP shot - at that range it should be a kill. But as we know, it was a pixel too low and the rest is history.

Feels bad man, I also was cheering for Saw. But the guy shoudlnt have played greedy when all he had to do was running around triple for one extra sec.
I know it's a very stressfull situation but what differenciate good from great players is the ability to be cold blooded in harsh situations.

For what SAW managed to accomplish at the Major in spite on not actually qualifying. They were at a 2-2 standing, meaning they successfully beat other teams, as well as having a barn-stormer of a match against Outsiders/VP.
The bigger question for SAW right now, can they keep up that form or will they falter due to playing against lower-tier competition?

me too, i was cheering for DIG and SAW against VP but VP were soo lucky in both games. hope SHOCK will qualify to major and get the revenge for SAW and DIG!
So sad 2v2 stuck in B, the bomb could have gone A with they other guy staying B making noise. then in ot not checking logs. wish they would have won.

it was a sure 14-16 win. last player of saw just needed jame to waste 0.1 more second by escaping to left. it's not his fault ofc but it's always depressing when you are this close to major but can't close it (literal 0.1second, or maybe 0.05s) wouldn't be this depressing if it was a general 16-11 etc lose. if i was xantares i would give my respects to portugal in major by mentioning saw as an insane potential like as they were
