Gaules and HLTV

Brazil Number_1_Fan_of_Last_Dance
He has been talking for a few days for Brazilians to stop giving relevance to HLTV and now, he just received a gank from HLTV... Did they see or translate everything Gaules said about them??? KEKW

Trust me non Brazilians, he has said a lot of bad things about HLTV in the last 3 days...

Gaules thinks HLTV have to suck his balls because hes a big streamer of CS. He believes he founded the brazilian's passion for the game but remember BiDa stream with big number for his time. He just got the train going and monopolized everything about the game.

maybe you think that bida is a relevant streamer or something else, he's just a caster, he never did a tournament and moved a lot of people like gaules made, he never gave the same support like gaules did, it's not about to ''suck balls'' it's about to swallow the fact that gaules is a relevant person of this game
2022-05-14 02:40
Thays true, he destroyed diversity, and took the Job that others were already doing better

2022-05-14 00:49
He is not big, he is the biggest, swallowing all the official transmission. And nobody needs to suck his balls, just stop pretending he doesnt exist and maybe reconize his importance for the scene. Its so weird ignore him. Look this: There was a lot of the last dances in Cs:Go, but HLTV choose ours to talk shit about. Look at this material: "Why the big brazilian reunion is a Bad idea" on hltv kkkkk ironically the only one that ranked. They dont even hide their xenophobia. Belive me man, If Gaules was American, now yes they would be sucking his balls. Holy shit, would be dripping.

Point is : gaules thinks hltv does not give enough credit for the Brazilian community. They have foreign guests that never achieved what gaules achieved, being it on the game or as a streamer so I get his point. And now with fallen mentioning on a live interview about how hltv only had criticism to our last dance project, gaules point is even more clear. As a Brazilian that watches the game with passion since luminosity's rise, I can say this is true. Our community have flaws but what we do for the game is relevant and gaules represent exactly what we are. I never liked him very much but he discovered so many cool and entertaining guys, gave them the space they deserved. Liminha, BT, Apoka, MCH and all the people watching gaules nowadays, we are proud of what Brazil is achieving, even when portals that should give us a little bit of credit prefer to ignore. And don't get me wrong, I like hltv very much. I just think gaules have a strong point on this situation

Why brazil people think they deserve attention?? Germany doesn't get the attention they deserve as well. When you see how important Germany was to grow CS 1.6 And do you see any Germans that cry hard about getting more credit?? Instead, HLTVV gives attention to cryvice and astralis everytime they have the chance. But overall there is no reason to cry hard as brazil does.

Lol you are a malding european trying to fit an argument where you have no place into. Nobody cares about germany nowadays because you suck, pure and simple. You have no titles, no numbers no nothing. We are not talking history here, we are talking about the current state of CS. Why would anyone care about germany when BIG and Sprout are your teams? Fucking joke. Just go back to your hole, nobody will care anyway. CS is not for germany anymore it seems. And I remember PGL major 2017, BIG got far by abusing a bug everyone agreed to not use. A dirty team that should be banned from competition. That is what german CS is nowadays. And eliminated by a Brazilian team, how fiting

I just can say if you represent the whole brazil community, you are all delusional and use Fallen and co just to fit a hole inside you. And in general some advice, if you have no idea about a topic don't answer, otherwise, your answer misses the whole topic. Without ESL founded in germany Cologne we wouldn't have the esports we have today. And that is what i mean. You have no idea what ESL and other germany compnies had done to make eSports worthy for the world. And without Flushas help Fallen etc would maybe have never become so big in cs. And all you show is hate to flusha, or germany. But at the same time cry for attention

And you mention ESL, how many times have we seen an interview with someone from ESL recently about plans and CS in general? Quite a lot. Your arguments just reinforce my point and make your first comment sound like crap. The whole Brazilian community had enough of idiots like you who think you are the center of the world. it is not just me, it is gaules and fallen and everyone who watches CS and care for our country. And finally, BIG top 1? In online era and a short period of time, you must be joking. This sad of excuse of a team should be banned from CS after PGL Krakow. Dirty cheaters

Gaules is an ex-professional player, with several titles in his history and who has other ex-players and ex-coachs in his streams, believe me they doesn't understand anything to be a commentator, You're right! He simply helped to professionalize the Brazilian cs more than a decade ago, long before he thought about being a streamer, events that he was present in the creation today are references in our country. Many players who are making a living out of it today have come out of events and projects he helped to make or created from scratch. He literally was a mibr player with FNX when he still had 2 worlds in cs 1.6, long before he won 4 cs 1.6 worlds and 2 csgo majors, saying that a guy who was present in all this "came out of nowhere and monopolized everything" is very dirty If he prefers to watch the games with the crowd without narrating like some narrator, it's because he likes it and this is the format that WE BRAZILIANS LIKE. If you foreigners don't like it, it's your problem, keep your culture and don't mess with ours!

I think that's even more stupid. Has he ever read a twitch/youtube chat when a game is active? 90% of comments are 1 of 2 things: - Talking about how good their own team is and how they will win ez - Making up names mocking other players: BaitF, Shitlig, Can'tfig etc. etc.

That's different tho, in youtube or twitch you mock players. In HLTV they mock the players, and you if you disagree with them, they say shit about you, your parents, your grandparents, your 100th generation and "some" (not trying to generalise) will say racist stuff towards you / your country

The CS community is extremely toxic. His chat is extremely toxic. Playing the game, the comms are toxic. 2 major analysts Thorin and Richard are extremely toxic. It's not wrong to be against toxicity. But is it less toxic to point at all his fans and say "Wow look at how bad HLTV is", like he doesn't know that will make all of them take a toxic approach towards HLTV. Even if you are nice in SoloQ you can still get a toxic teammate or an enemy calling you "Shitty hacker", "Get life nub" etc.

True. Honestly, Liquid is shaky, I really doubt them about 0-2, but that 3-2 makes sense in terms of individuals, legacy and the fact it was bo3. Same goes to Imperial. Forze, a team of teenagers against Imperial. Thorin 3-0 liquid was pure fantasy. I was hoping 3-2 or at best 3-1. but yeah, Don't bother with others. Br fanbase is strong enough to live without external supports.

2022-05-14 17:19
as a Brazilian i feel ashamed this thing got way to pathetic IMO. pro, casters, orgs all are tweeting something related to brazil just to bait some idiots since only the mention of brazil get you tons of likes. the strategy for pick im is choose the 5 most possible to advance and then put last dance as 3-0 or 0-3 to bait brazilians.

In the legends stage it’s very reasonable to put them 0-3 though. I’d argue they’re more likely than anyone else to end up there. BNE is another solid choice, but they could easily steal a bo1. Liquid was strong in the bo3 matches and has fairly easy projected matchups. Leaves imperial as the obvious 0-3 rn

I suppose it’s possible now, considering that heroic lost to spirit, but before, liquid was projected to face off against BNE in the bo3 elimination match, which simply favors them heavily. Now they’re almost certainly facing vitality, so there’s a definite possibility of the 0-3, I just don’t think it was a very safe pick at all.

even if they face BNE liquid continues to be my 0-3 pick, i don't think the kosovos will advance but i think they will upset some teams, liquid on the other hand i see as the weakest team of this stage

Do remember how shaky BNE looked in the bo3s last stage. They were solid in the bo1s (which is where I would also favor them against liquid), but in the bo3s liquid looked far stronger against far harder opposition. If we also consider play styles, BNE has a very puggy style, which liquid is more practiced against than vice versa.

Yeah they completely memed on coL too, but it's something you just gotta take on the chin because in hindsight, they ain't wrong. Everyone appreciates Brazil's passion for the game, but a good portion of fans can't stomach pragmatic criticism at all. HLTV Confirmed's predictions for Imperial in the legends stage was basically "hey, all these teams currently look better, I don't see how they could make to through."

tbh, even as a liquid fan, you have to accept that Liquid won't probably make it to the next stage. It would take a miracle or a perfect seeding to skip teams like Faze, g2, even Furia.

You just mentioned the problem. To say anything about EU, you have to wait for it to happen before talking, now with BR or SA in general, just creating a team, before even playing, they already talk a lot. And about Thorin, he literally didn't even mention his name and all he did when the audience spammed him to see was say "just ignore him, let him talk to himself"

the problem is that brazilians are soft while hltv are just giving out a fairly reasonable assesment of the situation I dont like to say that imperial got lucky theyve played better than expected and props to them but I dont think that saying that imperial were gonna even qualify for the major after so many years of inactivity for some of the players is unreasonable

+1 it's an opinion not a fact not even fallen was expecting to qualify to the major, their main goal was to be in the Rio major

ye i guess i worded it badly but I thought imperial didnt have a chance but ig they got the right matchups and they made it so fair play to them. I personally really like the team but it seemed very unlikely for them to be even close to where they are now

tell him that noone cares about him except brazilians

I can bet Gaules still has the impression that HLTV forums are like an extension of 4chan where right-leaning white teenagers spend their free time talking down to "third worlders" as if we were subhuman or something like that.

Gaules himself is a right-leaning white guy. The CSGO and fps community is filled with right-leaning white guys. At the very least, even the left-leaning guys are usually liberal types that do not indulge in full-fledged wokism and try to be reasonable, not campus baths*t crazy socialists. You stating that and mixing up with 4chan tells me that it bothers you because you're somewhat of a lefty yourself. I don't really care, but this has nothing to do with Gaules' complaints. Gaules is upset that CSGO media outlets on US and EU never gave him much attention, even though he puts up massive numbers. In his head and in the head of many Brazilians, this is a scorn because we're not a first world country and so people treat us like outcasts, PLUS the only time when people talk about our community is to pretend we're thugs cursing and threatening American players, and this while our guys are spreading love on the Major yet again. Hence, it's apple and oranges, it has nothing to do with "white right-wing kids". Hell, Fallen is a white right-wing (ex)kid. It has to do with patriotism against the scorn that foreigners give our community.

I believe everyone thinks that gaules is good for cs and good for your scene but me as a non portugese speaker I don't really care that much about him. If there was an article on Gaules on HLTV, I'll probably don't read it because I'm simply not concerned. I'm glad he exists for cs but it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't bring anything to me and I think most of the hltv community think that way as well. It's not against brazilian or against gaules it's just that we are not conecerned
2022-05-14 02:37
Are you saying this because of that quick rant on how the state fails to fulfill its promises as capitalism supposedly shine through the gaps? Liberalism is, by definition, "woke" on a cultural level. True liberals tend to share way more in common with progressives than with any so called conservative out there despite living capitalist lives as they see fit. To begin with, I've seen Gaules cowardly "defend himself" by whining and shrieking about rampant racism and xenophobia towards brazilians before, so I'm afraid my guess stands. Secondly, I don't see why a well-off streamer like him would even care if people whose language he can hardly speak aren't willing to give him some more clout — let alone his followers — as he is already at the top of his game in the lusophone world (which is nowhere near small). And thirdly, brazilian fans are indeed hostile online and the issue shouldn't be overlooked by us; flooding the timeline of each and every defeated opponent of our fellow countrymen as if they were worthy of hate or sending death threats to foreign critics is just sickening no matter what our motivations are. Patriotism is about loving your country and being proud of it. What our community mostly does, however, is actually finding ways to make others feel nothing but contempt for what we represent.

He's the biggest CSGO streamer in the world. Look at the viewership he got only on that first week of Major Challengers Stage. Massive. He already had put up massive numbers two, three years ago. And never got any attention or even a mere interview on HLTV. Idiots only blamed him when a couple of deranged kids cursed at Chaos players. And many Americans and Europeans, including Thorin, treat our community as if that stuff define us. Hell, Thorin even had the gall to ask Fallen "why you suck" around the same time that he took MIBR to a Major semi against Astralis and gave them a run for their money on Overpass while no one else could challenge them (remember that was the GOAT CSGO team). I love Gaules, I don't necessarily agree with him on everything, and I don't agree with every attitude he has regarding all this sh*t you guys do. But he has every right to be like that. And you're gonna have to suck it up when he puts up 400k+ viewers. Oh, yes, you will. And you're gonna have to keep sucking it up and keeping quiet when he stirs "up the us vs them" and "they'll never understand" attitude.

this 40 yo guy is taking over twitch, power of brazilian cs passion mens))))

The issue is that anybody that is not brazilian will not understand how it is to be brazilian and overcome many shits. (THATS OK) As a brazilian I'll say brazilians need to start understanding this. WE DO NOT NEED ANYONE APPROVAL. Mas se vocês falarem merda vão ter que aguentar, nem que seja um Vampetaço!
2022-05-14 02:41
I don't mind Gaules and he's a 1.6 legend, so I respect his knowledge of the game but I can agree that he is an unbelievably opinionated person, lots of bias and hot takes. I still feel bad for what he did to Chaos... His opinions of HLTV are to be respected as his own opinion, it's up to others if they agree or not.
2022-05-14 05:32
If I had to choose between Thorin and Gaules, I would choose Gaules because both of them have about the same IQ, but one speaks in a language that I don't understand

haha such a weird take. I kinda agree, I guess. Less annoying that way. Both are fueled by entertaining and baits. IGaules brings more passion than hate, while Thorin don't really support any teams, but he throws hates on somes.

If HLTV will ever interview any streamer than he can bitch about it. But I guess in case they won't he will be "bUt I'M THE bIgGeSt". Also, isn't there dust2.br or something? But I guess it's not the biggest site, so whatever and doesn't count for him. Edit: he should also understand that it's international site and nobody except Brasil gives a shit about him.
2022-05-14 11:47
Gaules is a classic example of an idiot getting more popular than he can handle and letting his ego get blown out of proportion to his relevance. Brazil fans being easily excitable morons doesn't help the situation.

when imperial go 0-3, BR/Last Dance/Gaules can go back to their own devices and stop crying so many tears. The team blows. They got an amazing seed. Move on

I'm a brazilian who just don't like gaules streams (or any other brazilian caster so far) they cast esport like its football and with prolonged moments where, if its not a brazilian team, they just don't care. Even when its a brazilian and the other team is performing well they instead of analysing the game just small talk or go to inner jokes and references. I always stick with the official casters/talent line. And HLTV is the main hub for professional CSGO, deal with it. And I am happy the tournament organizer are finally giving HLTV the proper space.

Brazil needs a Portuguese stream with casters like PGL-Brazil or something like that, watching a toxic streamer is pathetic.
