G2 is sort of in a weird state though. JaCkZ still drags the team down at times but he is better than last year. huNter and NiKo have swapped places. Every time G2 needs a star, it's been huNter so far. m0NESY sometimes banishes, sometimes rekts. Sometimes hits insane flicks only to miss the easy ones. Aleksib well, stratwise the team looks stronger but nexa fragged more. I don't know what happened to NiKo. G2 reached Katowice playoffs and he simply disappeared.

Last year, there was a notion that a 10% increase for G2 would've given them a few wins vs NAVI. But right now, I don't know how to "calculate" it because m0NESY is certainly more than a 10% than AmaNEk but it's clear that even though huNter is their best player, he still has nowhere near the impact NiKo used to have.

Yeah that's fair. NiKo just had to do that much more for G2 to be competitive in series and whilst amanek is a super intelligent player, G2 needed a solid awper and Monesy does fill that position well (a little worse than i'd like to see right now but still). I think G2 could've won if b1t and electronic stayed absent like they have been during 2022 but Navi were overall playing quite well. I think they will continue having close series between the two of them

Nothing is perfect and the numbers are overstated in CSGO, you’re like the glass human here and in football people are way less toxic. What counts is wins and not hltv rating etc. . Team performance is everything.
