Trash major until now prove me wrong.
Flames and Spirit went 2-0 and on the other hand Vitality went 0-2.
Literally the only S-Tier team that went 2-0 is NaVi lul. And the most weird thing is that we have all the tier1 teams on the 1-1 bracket. FaZe , G2 , Cloud9 , Heroic , ENCE , FURIA. Except NaVi of course. Like wtf is this event OMEGALUL.

the major isnt trash because the top teams are too dumb to beat the "bad" teams...
ur point of view and cs knowledge is trash if you want boring predictable outcomes 24/7
trash cuz there are a lot of surprises? xd i prefer underdogs to win and add some spice to the competition than boring ass matches that are always being won by the theoretically better team and u can easily predict an outcome of every single match

You say FaZe vs NaVi would be better match than FaZe vs Spirit
But if Spirit gets to semis and NaVi doesnt, it means Spirit played better at this tournament. That makes NaVi worse team and it would be more boring match if they played worse and got there.

Use my brain first ? Just because I have my personal opinion are you dumb ? If I saw this kind of teams on semis or finals at any Iem Dallas/summer I wouldn't say that. But especially when we speak about the best and most valuable trophy in Cs yea I want the S-Tier teams to make it to playoffs , semis and finals.

For example if Spirit advances and NaVi doesnt, that means Spirit is in better form tha NaVi, which means higher quality CS in semis

yeah but we all know that there is also a hype factor and i bet u would prefer to see navi vs faze than furia vs imperial for example, people do not like some teams cuz they are just good but they like certain pro teams for their players' character, nationality, skill etc.

Your bet is wrong, i dont play/watch cs anymore, the only matches i watch from time to time are NiP matches, this game has been a shitshow for me for couple of years already.
So I still stand behind my argument, if one team andvances to playoffs over another, its cuz their current form is better and they deserved it, just like in every sport

and seeding can destroy thw whole tournament
then give an example for a more fair and better system...
groups suck cuz you only need to prepare for 3 teams actually while in the swiss system you have to prepare for every single team at least a bit ... and shouldnt a major be the place where the best players, coaches and analysts who are able to prepare for everyone should win... there isnt a much better system than buchholz since it includes the actual performance at the major and doesnt give probably dead teams who still have a high ranking placement an advantage which they dont deserve

yeah but at swiss itself there isnt anything more fair than buchholz
even if you draw every match there we could still easily have Spirit vs. CPH Flames in the 2-0 match... so provide me a better swiss system than buchholz as well... doesnt change my point at any time

in that way you punish a team like BIG who went 3-0 in the RMR and give an unfair advantage to a team like NaVi or FaZe who went 3-1 ... people will ofc rank FaZe for example higher than BIG even tho BIG won a BO3 against them in the end... isnt really fair either
also if you get all 16 teams in the legend stage ranked by other teams you would have a team like G2 ranked higher than at least some of the following (Furia, NiP, FaZe, C9, CPH Flames) even though they had to go through the Challenger stage because they just threw too much during the RMR but you still give them an unfair advantage over teams who maybe played and prepared their best ever counter strike for a good seeding at the RMR ... also if you just rank the Top 8 (Legends) teams like BIG and CPH Flames wouldnt be on #2 or #3 seed which they earned but would probably be at 6-8 and face harder opponents even though they played lights out to qualify... nah thats super bullshit
