just shows u that once u give equal opportunities and the seeding comes from past tournament and not by name of the org and how many followers it has, u get exposed.
No ur team didnt win a bo1 vs team spirit or CPH, what a shame, bo1! bad!!!! if it was bo5 , bo3 bo7 it would of changed! well, reality is bo1 is fine, as it seeds u the way u deserve. not hard to win, if ur better, just win, why not? prepare, play the map they dont know as well, as they are supposedly a small team, so less resources, etc..
Org name won make u win games, but of course ESL and BLAST owning the whole calendar and having ur favorite 8 top tier partner teams playing vs each other 250 times a year is fun.
Maybe having a pro circuit with an ending like a TI tournament would be a dream for many, but refuse it cuz "CS IS OPEN CIRCUIT", people who praise about and talk so much about open circuit and then complain now, should be ashamed.
Glad to see TS and CPH Flames there. GS, and hope to see TS make it far, as it would be epic, from winning TI10, to a Major. Dont see it often or ever happened.

Only thing that I would change is that the 1-1 games could already be bo3:s. I don't think it would affect that much in schedule and such for production having 4 x bo3 games for a stream per day in day 2 compared to 8 x bo1 games or 3 x bo3 games in day 1 and day 3. For teams it wouldn't matter at all, because everyone still plays only one game that day.
I can be wrong in this because I don't really know production limits and such.
Only great if all matches would be bo3 otherwise no.
People talk down because they can't find any excuses when their favorite team loses.
The best team needs to be able to prove themselves no matter what. To me, Bo1 is actually really good because it makes teams have to focus at every given moment of the game and play to their very best to show their ability. If Bo3, bo5, a team can very well throw/give up a map because they get to play their map choice next, which could be very toxic attitude for viewers..
the problem is that teams like CPH and BIG go into the tournament with #2 and #3 in seeding based on a single qualifier where they beat average teams. BIG beat Navi, fair enough but CPH being regarded as the second best team in the world seeding-wise by beating Sprout, Sinners and NiP is not reasonable.

I mean, according to the simulator Liquid and Vitality wouldn't have played each other IF Cloud9 beat NIP in their respective match, which to me makes 0 sense. Just seems flawed that the 0-2 matchups are affected by some random 0-1 matchup.

Its the buccholz system.
For example, vita in challengers stage would have a bad buccholz score because they didn't win a single team that made it through, but they still went 3-0. On the other hand, G2 has a higher one because they beat ence, spirit and liquid that all made it through, but is also 3-0
