nah ... we had it earlier but since a couple of years we have the jury which also gives out the points for the esc event deciding who goes... tbh if you want to take someone rather unknown i dont really get why we dont send in the winner of The Voice of Germany ... its the biggest, most watched and highest quality Music talent show we have here and you could actually give the guy/girl winning a good start to his/her career and maybe there is a top 10 singer/song in it... since it seems like we only want that standard popsongs anyways (okay actually having a song with a rap part is crazy for me knowing how far germans are in the stone age when it comes to music)

The official German jury declined them for not being typical "radio-like" music. German People never got to vote for them.
