- Mou was one of the better awpers in CIS at the time after his tenure with Hellraisers
- Adren has always been a great rifler and only fell off after his time in faze
- Hobbit was an emerging talent
- Dosia was pretty good for a 4th best player on the team with a good mind for the game

jokes aside they would qualify to major even with OP instead of aleksib in the team. They often play 4v5 anyway. Sometimes just hunter + niko + m0nesy is enough to beat most top 15-20+ teams

He won't get to major winner level which is needed when you have the talent he has on his team. With OG I would've been ok with a playoffs appearance as the target in this current major, but with the change to G2, the minimum was to get to the playoffs, they didn't, he's under pressure to win at least one tournament now or he's off as quickly as he got to the team.

Even if NiKo could IGL (which he can't and this isn't even up for debate) he is worth much more as a star rifle than to just make him be a semi-decent IGL. (Which you couldn't, as mwntioned before.)

His calls are quite solid but they have massive lack of clear communications so the executes both T and CT side get messy often. And NiKo push calls doesn't help either. They need to calm their nerves.
And Aleksi needs to play more DM and less KZ for sure.

Feels like M0nesy and NiKo are just doing whatever they want, Hunter is flanking and has great success in it, and Jackz performing well in 1/5 games. They need to fix their small mistakes or otherwise roster changes are needed.
At current state feels like AleksiB is not doing that much since it kinda feels like everyone is playing a bit different game than they are supposed to do.

The ence project was the only thing that made him a "t1" talent, and with his current form of stats I can't call him a t1 igl, he is currently closer to krystal and hunden level frags than karrigan for example

I can understand why you would say that.
But hear me out. Last year without a primary Awper. G2 made it till finals. I was basically the NiKo-Hunter Show.
This year they do have primary awper and a pretty good one. For a young lad, he got shots more consistently than Lucky in Astralis. On paper they shouldn't be struggling to get this much to get to Playoffs. if they are struggling than its either the coach or IGL (IMO, both). If Aleksib was better IGL. he should be able to lead them to Finals.
If you have any proper argument on why Aleksib is better than Nexa without showing an solid results. please share, I would really like to know your opinion as well.

niko likes to take over the team comms and talk over the igl, hes notorious for taking over the team and making them play his strats.
this is why g2 constantly throw matches because we have a rogue player with a big ego thinking it's his team.

He's the IGL of the team.
An IGL is someone who makes calls i.e. what to do in each round. He reads the situation in any round from both his and his opponent's POV and makes the plan which would increase his team's chances of winning. He helps in preparing strats/setups for each situation and against specific opponents.
And he also helps with the team's utility usage i.e. flash, smoke, molly etc.

There's no such thing as 'average'. An IGL helps with the structure in the team and roles. It's all about whether the structure of this particular IGL fits the team better or not..
