Vitality's biggest mistake
shox |
Hungary ShadYyBoy
Signing Kyojin, instead hAdji. If u remember, they wanted to sign hadji first, who is already proved himself, rekting in T2 and dropping huge stats, but probably didn't signed him, because he is too old (26 now, maybe he was 25 during that time). They wanted to remove RpK sadly, but then 500 iq overrated coach XTQZZZ decided to pick an fpl grinder young boy, who is not that young either (was 22). Aaaaand shortly after this miss pick, Kyojin sadly failed, what a suprise, being 22 with almost no team experience not working instantly in T1. TLDR: If Vitality would have picked hAdji, they would have been top1, instead they tryharded with Botjin, and blew up the last T1 french team Btw what is this hair: hltv.org/player/19671/python

A lot of player would make it better than Kyojin, and hAdji was probably the best opinion

Well yea, bodyy already had a ton of experience as well, we knew he can have good aim too, but they risked everything, thinking Kyojin will be the next b1t or m0nesy, the new young hope, by some frag videos x'DDD

As #13 said he is a cheater with several accounts vac banned, there was a hub "French Pro League" where both apEX and shox played in mid 2021 and Kyojin was there dropping 40 kills every games, unbelievable headshots that you can see in his youtube movies also.

That wouldnt have made any difference, Shox already was washed and without ZywOo going rampage they werent that good anyways.

What are you, smoking dude? It was literally ZywOo playing 1v5 or 1v2 with mistuaa doing something.
2022-05-18 01:27
On t-side he did ok, because of his experience and good timing while lurking. On ct-side he was a real problem, his firepower is gone.

He wasn't in SHOXIEJESUS form anymore, but it wasn't his role to be the star player either, but STILL he had his moments, did great clutch, etc. While misutaaa being inconsistent AF, even apex fragged better than him, which he is doing still xddd
2022-05-18 01:32

Yes, but its not only misutaaas fault, an entryfragger has to rely on his teammates setting him up properly. Entryfragging is massiv underrated. Almost every entryfragger got criticised when its not really their fault.

But they were good, very good event finishes at the end of the year. even winning one big tier 1 event and all that with kyojin losing bombsites on his own all day. shox was pretty washed but he looked way better still than he does now at Liquid. hadji is solid and would have helped. But the smartest play would have been trying to get amanek from G2, I am sure Carlos would have let him go rather easily.

Yes, because they played against dead teams and they had 0 pressure at all and had a good chemistry. If they have kept that lineup they wouldnt make it far nowadays.
2022-05-18 01:38
Vitality is improving imo. They already said that it will be a long term project and its understandable, none in that team had played in international roster/leaving their comfort zone (except for magisk) anyway

Oh yes, every team is saying this who is sucks. Dupreeh is 29, Apex is 29, misutaaa only improved backwards since he, "the future of french CS (lmao)" joined Vitality. How much more time they need, 3 years? Not qualifying for champions stage is not acceptable, enough time passed.

Of course, they play seriously they literally get rekt by aykeN every time if you see their 5stacks matches and the score is not even close it's always 16-4, 16-8, 16-10 that's how bad they're together.

I like Vitality but this roster isn't going to work ever, I'm sorry they're super bad and you cant expect ZywOo to carry them every time If you watch FPL recently his confidence went down.

Well. Its the first time in a international lineup for many of the players. If you guys expect a team thats been a team for 4 months to go and win the major or whatever then you are delusional. All events that Vitality will attend got the best teams in the world in it. Its not exactly a walk in the park to beat FaZe, NaVi, G2 or Heroic. The biggest problem Vitality got is that apEX is the IGL. I believe he cant handle it because: A: He gets stressed all the time and he cant communicate fast in English imo. B: He is a super emotional player, just watch the player cam when he dies or whatever he looks upset. He needs to focus on the next round but i think he is unfocused because he is still upset about the previous round when he should tell the players what to do. The only changes VItality might do is remove both Misutaaa and apEX in 5-6 months when their contracts expire. I really doubt Vitality will extend their contracts. They will probably try to sign Yekindar soon. The team in your flair should have disbanded 6+ months ago though.

"If you guys expect a team thats been a team for 4 months to go and win the major or whatever" we expect them to QUALIFY to a major, which is done by way worse teams on paper, like CPH, Spirit. So stfu delusional Zywoo dickriders :) /close

biggest mistake=bench RpK. RpK didnt wanted to leave it was team decision, he retired only cuz he didnt wanted to grind from t4 again.
2022-05-18 02:10
Nah fuck that shit, they obviously performed better than they should've with kyojin, but the biggest mistake is not sticking with the french core and kicking the man who built your team, xtqzzz, like literally such fucking trash management i get the idea you go for players who've shown success magisk dupreeh zonic, but fuckin hell you literally broke apart a team that was #2 at the end of last year and actually even won an event, which obviously rosters better than them dont win all the time when they're "supposed to". If they kicked kyojin for amanek i think they would've ended up being better and produce results rather than this garbangio roster with dupreeh magisk and zonic, but then again players didnt really want to split up so its mostly dogshit management.

I still think that trying to make one of the most mentally unstable pro players into their IGL was definitely their major mistake. He tilts after 3 lost duels, if you watch their videos he dies in 20 seconds and spends rest of the round over communicating and repeating stuff they say already - micromanaging 24/7. It's painful to listen and I feel like you need a mental strength of Shox or Zywoo to do it - I'm willing to bet kyojin lost over 0.1 rating because of it. Even now you see him basically self destructing, he just bites for every bait and every duel and overpeeks and vitality plays 4v5. Yes, dupreeh had some bad games, but I bet my ass he got tilted by apex literally throwing. Also, why in the ever living fuck does apex play connector mirage? You have the lowest skill player in the team play most important position, wtf? It's same for other maps - you are just at a flat out disadvantage when you are doing that. He has 0 tempo to it, he just bites for it and dies and then lets zywoo clutch. And you can't argue overdoing communication and peeking for mid round calling cause from their videos - you can hear magisk is their mid rounder 80% of the time, 15% is dupreeh and rest is when other chip. You can't have obvious HEAVY tendency for mental instability and be consistently on top - just does not work. imo he won't stay there for long, I do not think dupreeh and apex can work because peter also can be emotional and he does not need someone to treat him like apex treats people, also I do not think magisk can have respect for apex with him conducting him self like he does. Makisk is a 0 bs tolerance type of guy and will give dan the taste of his own medicine - or already did which is why I suspect dan played here like he did - total self destruct mode throwing round after round cause that's how mentally unstable people deal with things.
