Because it takes way too long and kills the hype since you get bored watching and the breaks are dreadfully long aswell. And also a BO5 makes it harder for an upset to happen which makes it less fun and the maps are less intense since each map matters less.

Dota 2, LOL, Rainbow Six, Valorant have adopted BO5 for their grand finals.
Call of Duty even do BO7 (but games are faster).
Tennis have BO5 too (3 sets too win), last year French open have a lot of very long matches.

Seeding allows it, Na Vi need to beat Heroic and then beat either CHF or ENCE and FaZe need to beat NiP and then either FURIA or Spirit. I think PGL might have set up this bracket for a final matchup like that. Fortunately HooXi's leadership will obliterate ENCE and destroy Na Vi's dreams of reaching the final, and then ruin Karrigans last chance at a major. Then of course -Karrigan +HooXi

Ya they gave FaZe a pretty clear cut pathway to the final, a big disappointment if they can't pull it through. NiP isn't that good and FURIA/Spirit are the two worst teams in the playoffs except the Flames (by ranking ofc we all know they major winners soon). I have a feeling Na Vi might fall before the final this event, but FaZe should make it there.

Heroic, and I think they'll get their stuff together now that they have a crowd. If they don't then I don't think ENCE will win, last time they played was way back in February and Na Vi won. But nevertheless I'd say that ENCE won't even have a chance to get into the matchup against Na Vi, as they'll be eliminated by Uncle Roej and the Falmes will dominate Na Vi in the semis

Heroic can def upset provided the momentum of winning map 1 and key players stepping up such as Stavn, Cadian, and Teses
But man i would hate to see them on the finals, i dislike Cadian a lot 😂 but ill admit that they are a solid squad
And yeah im cheering on Ence to win whole major. Would be pretty cool seeing an international roster lifting a major trophy for the first time and its not a G2 / Faze / expensive budget-esque team

Most definitely, the most dangerous thing about Heroic is that all their players can step up seemingly anytime. A very solid squad with a rather... even distribution of firepower. I understand peoples negative sentiments towards CadiaN but I don't mind it, can be over the top but it adds some spice (plus it shows he's really passionate about this game).
ENCE is a really cool squad, honestly the only team I dislike in this playoff is FaZe just cause I think they're a team that buy their way to success. Luckily I have the knowledge that the Falmes will win, so no real use in watching any of the games except that of the boys from Copenhagen.

The most evenly distributed firepower, thats a good sentence to describe their team. Even seemingly the weakest link Sjuush can take over games.

Ya Sjuush still has some good talent, but I'd say refrezh is the weakest link. Great aim but fails to find impact a lot, sjuush is just a wonderful support player and does what is needed of him.
I know.. kinda sad that CHF is gonna have to eliminate them in the quarters, would have been way better to eliminate them in the final 😈

They're my second favorite team in the playoffs, but Xizt isn't playing ;(
What I've noticed with navi after the war started this year is that they are so much more prone to tilting and when they start the game on the wrong foot then it's just over.

Haha they struggled to get to playoffs playing 2-2. Idk why everyone keeps hyping up these teams like clown9 or cheatroic. NaVI will easily destroy comediaN and other cheatroic players. Don't buy into comediaN's interview that they are about to peak those are just mind games, reality is cheatroic have no chance unless NaVi chokes.
