that's why the maps are CT sided, especially early in the game (remember Nuke?) but that still wasn't enough of a balance. now it's shifted closer to 50-50 i'd say, maybe even 60-40 but that's coz of the anti stratting n stuff

first bullet accuracy is higher than an awp, which is why they use it if they need to take long range fights and dont have money for an awp

The ct side winning the half isn't that big of a deal, it's just the way they do it. If it was 8-7 and 9-6 halves it'd be fine, but nowadays so many maps you are happy to get 5 T rounds which is unhealthy for the game

u r not right. it doesn't matter how big is the difference. its just the fact that almost any of the half is going to ct and u just fighting for a number of rounds u win on t-side. it doesn't good..

It does matter, there is a large difference between having 12-3 halves every game or having 9-6 halves every game. 1. It's just not fun to play the unfavored side, every round you're getting fucked, 2. in pugs, teams literally fall apart from starting on the unfavored side because people become frustrated and toxic. 3. Pistol rounds start having a much larger impact on the game than they should. It very much matters, and it'd be very much find if maps were 8-7 or 9-6 ct sided generally

u r not right again. the game MUST be equal for both sides. u MUST have a chance to get 10+ round on t-side on any map if u r good enough. but now we have maps like nuke, ancient, overpass where u cant win a lot on t-side even if u r faze coz of disbalance of the map and also of imbalance of m4a1

What you are describing is a fantasy, you can not have every map being 50/50 balanced, it just won't happen. As long as you are within certain margins, it's fine. And those margins are typically a 9-6 split at maximum. I don't understand what you mean by "if you are good enough", if you let pros play against silvers they're gonna 15-0 on t side of any map(which is an extreme example of course), if you are dominant enough over the other team, you'll still get insane t sides, but rather, maps should be balanced around teams of equal skill level.

look at navi-quazar matchup at rmr on ancient. IMAGINE team quazar wins a half vs navi on ct-side 7-6. you wanna say that navi worse than quazar? ofc not, this is the map balance problem

It always was... Cache was the only map that I remember being more T-sided, but it was like 50% at best.

There were some maps that were T sided at times, but yes, generally the game tends to be ct sided. But not to the extent that it is right now, the ct side is TOO stronk

My belief is that smokes should be a two-way street. Why does one side get tracer fire and the other side doesn't? Smoke spam should be more easily punished for Ts. And the M4A1-S probably needs a smaller mag with a higher price tag of $3100. The M4A4 can be the new $2900 gun.

Maybe you can't really make the game more t sided in a non artificial way because a lot of the power of ct side doesn't lie uniquely in m4a1s being op but modern teams strats are so much better than in the past, utility defensive usage, timings, calculated smoke kills, allows a more easy snowballing. Defense will always be more easy than attacking (you have to check lot of angles, depends of random timings, etc)

m4a1s reduces players ability to trade frag and makes it super risky to play around smokes as t its also easier to use than the m4a4 while being cheaper and requiring less bullets to kill. make both m4s 2900 or 3000 then make the a1s 20/60 bullets

And something that forgot to be mentioned...Ct side is too strong and here psychology plays a big role. The team that starts on Ct side have a way bigger advantage than as it seems. Imagine the team winning 7-0 at some time...they have a crazy good psychology ( oh we are great , lets go , nice ) and this helps them to get even more rounds. On the other hand when the T's are losing 7-0 already they have shit emotions no psychology and probably they are thinking " oh OK fuck it we will lose the half 13-2 so map is already lost ). Tldr: Starting on CT side is a huge advantage also because it raises your psychology a lot.
