That + the fact that Richard Lewis basically confirmed on BTN back then that a lot of it was due to the community ridiculing him for the Anonymo incident and that he thought going back to Astralis would fix things

I don't really follow these things, but if there's proof for what you said its even more ridiculous. What kind of weak snowflake must you be then.
And what about fans? I mean, they basically pay his salary. Without fans/viewers there is no esports. He doesn't update anyone or anything. I think that is really unprofessional. I mean, a little message every once and awhile would do alot.

did everyone forget that there's proof to the rematch argument? They literally played with loss the entire match. You can see it in the chat they were playing and the investigation about it found out that it was a problem with the servers and their connection. Idk bout u guys I feel like it's as fair as it gets. NIP then won the rematch without lag and I would say that's a fair win.

His overall rating is 1.11, he got decent impact with 1.16 but thats mostly vs T3-T4 and in 1 bo3 vs Spirit.

It concerns me when misinformation is being spread. I watch forest, by that I mean interviews, games. Content being released on for example their youtube channel. And when the topic of traveling comes up he talks about how much he enyoys it, traveling and seing the world. And especially the competition itself. Ofc he mentions that he misses his family, just like every other professional player in sports does when they travel. And ask any player from former Dig and they will tell you that the idea behind Dig was to compete in T1. And was their no1 goal up until the end.
I shouldnt need to speak for him nor do I like to, just dont like misinformation being spread. Go watch interviews of him for the past 2+years.
Just the idea of "have kids now, working is not possible" is ridiculous. How does every other sport player do it? They do it with a partner who shows understanding and out of a burning passion for the game until they cannot compete anymore.

The thing about nip is.. They have great players, fit perfect together. But they dont have any experienced players on the team. The players you want to have when the pressure is high, because you know they will deliver. Nip is and has been for the longest time what I call "group stage heroes". Playing amazing in groups, looking almost unbeatable when the preassure is lower. Then going out in 8th place constantly. Not saying - anyone + anyone because they are already hoarding the best players in Sweden. The experience of these young players will grow.

What do you think about the dope idea of astralis changing out xypex for forest?
I cant se a way to make another Swedish team good enough right now for forest to join, because nip has all the best players so it would just be like: Dig -lekro +krimz or Dig -friberg +krimz wich I believe would be the same or slightly better.
Sweden is in such a need right now for good players, especially igl's. Like Dig was probably the best Swedish team you could make outside of the nip players. Changing out friberg for lekro for twist as igl would solve nothing right? Same as changing out hallzerk for draken for nawwk would aswell?
Thats why this at first strange idea of forest in Astralis starts to make sense to me.

I mostly agree about your view of the players. Not really a upgrade getting Lekro or twist.
But I do think that Krimz and forest have a really high level and if they are in a really good team they would step up their game as well.
First time I hear about forest to astralis. My first thoughts are that he is a legend of the game so the rest of the team would respect and listen to him. His mentality is a winner so I really think he can have a positive impact on almost any team he joins. I would love to see him in NIP, it would feel like a big upgrade

well, because that is how life works.
You dont feel well, you go to the doctor. The doc says you are depressed, stressed and need to relax. Then they set a time period that is long enough to actually make a change. I guess he got a 6 month medical certificate. If that is not extended he will be declared healthy and he will come back to work. Which means, if this intel is correct that he will be back for the next event.

Okay so, its no secret that Astralis has been struggeling. Xypex even more so individually. How would you feel about the idea of forest joining up to take his place?
The reason for this idea is because there isnt enough great Swedish players to make another T1 team with nip hoarding all the best ones. So for forest to come back he needs to look elsewhere. Him and krimz alone isnt enough to make a team, especially without any good Swedish igl's.. Thoughts?

Fair enough, but it seems weird to me that both parties are so quiet if it's clear that he will be coming back. For example, hampus would probably be able to say in interviews that he will eventually come back, not that they will stick with the current lineup like he said in the most recent interview. Most journalists speculated stuff about him not coming back and I believe they wouldn't just throw speculations at the wall if they didn't have any basis for making them.
To be clear, I always believed he actually will come back, but I'm saying that if there is even a decision to be made by him on whether he will return or not, I think that he would be smart to stay with the team since they signed Brollan and have been looking incredible during the major.
u cant fix a team that loses against the best team in the world.
for that matter all teams need to be fixed then, cuz faze's on hot streak rn.

Krimz is on the tail end of his career though, I think they would get more longevity from Plopski/es3tag and I wouldn't bet on Krimz being better than them at this moment tbh.
But + dev1ce absolutely, if he was playing today and they smashed FaZe into oblivion I wouldn't even be mad. Can't wait for his return if it happens at all, that team would actually be insane

I bet he is not coming back to nip. They haven't mention his name in social media for months, hampus suggested they wan't no changes, device plays puggs while nip is fighting for the major. also mahone (ex nip analyst) said he thinks device will eventually come back but he has no idea how long he is gonna stay in nip.

Even though I think dev1ce would've allowed them to win this game maybe even into the semi's it would've been really selfish of him to take out one of the players to at this point have been playing pretty good. I think we'll see him back next time NIP plays (I believe that's in Dallas?)
