Why are nitr0 / floppy / autimatic performing so well relative to their cs-only peers?
The level of competition in NA Val is higher than in NA CS. Let me explain.
We all know Valarante is child game. These players are probably playing with their eyes closed. But what's not easy for them is the amount of learning and grinding they have to do. Their competition, these young prospects, are working super hard on improving, and these old CA players have to match them to be able to stay on their team / compete.
Meanwhile, CS players are busy streaming Val and aren't working nearly as hard. Why would you, when your region is dead and you're guaranteed a job with another org which just wants to recycle old talent?
These Val players brought back their work ethic to CSGO. That's why they are performing better than their CS compatriots.

valorant has a very high skill ceiling for aim specifically.
everyone is forced to have great crosshair placement and aim.
plus they're competing with younger players and their zoomer reflexes and aim, so they have to stay sharp.
due to how slow the acceleration is compared to csgo, it's hard to get away with just peeking and spraying things down.
So it's possible that all the former valo players have better aim because they had to care about it more

My one taps in CS improved after Val but my spray got dogshit after playing Val for a month. It's easier to aim in Valorant because character models walk like dummies, they are literally slow af and are bouncing which makes the OP in valorant overpowered. It's muuuuuch easier in Valorant to hit one taps and my personal experience tells me that Valorant makes hitting taps in CS easier.

just because it's an unpopular opinion doesn't make it not true..!
in CSGO you can get away with all sorts of things.
jiggle peeking, spraying, crouch spraying
then you can move out of the way..!
in valorant if you don't hit an immediate headshot you've lost the duel..!
I will say CSGO is more about mastery, because the maps have been around for so long. And there's not many kinds of utility. So it's better to watch. But the raw aim mechanics aren't nearly as sophisticated as Valorant. CSGO stands to learn a thing or too honestly

you also lost the duel because enemy is on the otherside of the map using ultimate ability.
you also lost the duel because you're in enemy's posion smoke and took 1hp damage to feet despite being 100hp normally.
1. stuff is unpopular for a reason.
2. aim is less important in valorant, game sense is less important in valorant... so on..
spawn timings are less imporant in valorant...
because game is designed with this in mind.

unpopular? valorant is actually fairly popular. I think a lot of CSGO fans just really hate the game because they feel it's cool to hate on valorant
valorant, with more moving parts, can be quite sophisticated. you have to know how everything interacts. there's more potential for creativity, innovation.. valve can really learn a thing or two..!

just as mr13 is more random compared to mr15 compared to mr18... (within the same game)
if you make it mr200. it becomes a different game to the point it's random compared to original mr13 results.
Valorant gameplay is the mr200 compared to CSGO.
in other words, better hacks/AI performs better in valorant compared to same level diff between hacks/AI in csgo. but that shit is way too far beyond humans, that the abilities take over aim.

I don't think its as much "bringing back work ethic to csgo," I think its just that they've realized they love CS more and they all found new motivation to succeed in their favorite game.

Because these guys realised that NA valorant was a joke filled with players who arent committed to competing and winning and care more about making money and streaming.
It reminded them how much more they love cs and they moved back more motivated than they were before they left

Probably true about competition, there is 0 motivated players in NA. Summit said he will try to get to FPL through grinding (lol) but there seems to be zero players in queue for him.
I heard that NA Val top teams prac/scrim for 10h+ per day so yeah, I think work ethic in Valorant is very high. Can't say which game harder to compete or to stay on top cause in Val, meta , new agents make game change each 3 or 4 months. While in CS, the game hardly change , players can comeback and still perform
