B1ad3 on Vitality's firepower
 |
Finland DTeeVee
hltv.org/news/33641/b1ad3-we-did-not-hav.. "Actually I don't know the details, I did not analyze to get the whole picture for this team, once we play them more I'll understand more, but at the moment I think they lack individual skill. I mean not skill in terms of thinking but in terms of mechanics, raw skill, out aiming, etc. They need firepower." B1ad3 seems to think that Vitality lack firepower. Do you think that this is true?

His aim is actually insane. Brain power is what he lacks

I am fairly confident that since no action was taken, there indeed is no actual proof
2022-05-20 15:19
also he told his dad to say that him (the dad) and kyojin's brother actually got those vac bans lol.

yep, dupreeh and magisk and insanely clever and experienced but they definitely past their prime if we talk about raw fragging, they need to be mixed with hyped and hungry who are obsessed with clicking heads

He's not wrong about the star players Dupreeh is not what he used to be man, he's still a smart player but on CT side its always sad to see he can never get multi frags anymore. At best, most of the time he gets the 1 kill and then he gets traded out because he can't finish his spray onto the second guy Magisk is still nearly as good as in his prime. IK people have hyped Dupreeh but I hope people realise now Magisk is secretly the 2nd best Vitality player, mostly consistent, very smart player but mechanically he's not too bad even still Misutaaa has good firepower, in his case I don't understand Blad3. His raw aim is the 2nd best on the team, he just lacks experience and has to play hard entry alot apex 100% not what he used to be, he's nearly in his thirties. But its also because he's IGLing, IMO it doesn't make sense for him to still be playing star positions when he has this role now. Why is he the con player on Mirage? Give it to one of the Danes. Him having such a bad opening kill rate is really bad for Vitality because this team really struggles to play 4v5 when apex throws his life away. Astralis is a team that was really strong with communication but Vitality 4v5 with communication problems as it is, this team ends up getting flanked so much ZywOo whether its language barrier only or if he really is in a slight slump, not on s1mple's level mechanically right now. He has been whiffing shots you don't expect ZywOo to whiff. So I think blad3 is 60% right 40% its other issues too

This gives me SWARN151 vibes without how well it's written and how good the points are. Also, I agree. I picked Magisk over Dupreeh simply because I kind of saw Dupreeh's inconsistency coming from the recent matches before the major. The fact that some maps he top frags and the other he bottoms out with apEX and Misutaaa playing support should be ringing alarm bells imo.

Magisk is just an excellent decision maker, because he is always acutely aware of the win condition of any given round. Even when he was posting worse stats than Dupreeh I considered Magisk a more solid foundation for Vitality than him because very rarely would you see Magisk make mistakes in a game outside of mechanical misplays (just missing shots on occasion). If he needs to survive on site to draw further rotation he will. If he needs to run through a molly to deny a plant he will and that was a critical moment against BIG this major that showed just whats so strong about Magisk as a player. Dupreeh is a guy who has thrived off of his mechanical excellence, he's arguably the most iconic entry fragger to ever play. Which is why its more difficult for me to place his role in the team nowadays. Magisk its not really a problem, you don't need as much mechanical sharpness when your contribution to the team is about the conscious decisions you're making in the round. For Dupreeh to make impact he needs his flick aim to be on point but right now he's in a bit of a xyp9x situation where alot of the time he's overcorrecting on his shots because he normally kills his opponents alot faster. It happens when your reflexes get just a little bit slower and you're also less aware of your opponent's position due to the aforementioned communication issues in Vitality. In the last year Dupreeh's HS percentage is 20.5%, but in the past month it has dropped to a worrying 15.8% showing he's not hitting that first bullet as cleanly, and when he tries to flick onto the enemy to finish them off its not something he's as used to doing and he's whiffing, possibly a little panicked, in the process

Honestly mate, you're a gem to this community rn. Please, keep up these very valuable insights. I think what is happening to Dupreeh is similar to Friberg's fate. Age and perhaps reflex decay along with an English speaking team is probably what's depreciating his performance. And yes, Magisk doesn't suffer from comms issues as much. I suppose it's because he's an anchor player who just needs to focus for a couple of seconds to make his impact into the round.

beyb1ad3 is 100% right, vitality 1v9 every game
2022-05-20 14:53
Also they tend to start so slow often going like 0/1/8 on 1-2 players who seem to not be in the game for the first 10 rounds.

Not the case. They started off with some idea of a mix between Vitality and Astralis. That didn't work out. I think we saw the beginning of their "own style". Firepower is not the problem.

He's spot on. Nobody in the world can question ZywOo's ability, but the rest of the team needs to step up their game. Magisk and Dupreeh specially, since they've proven in the past they had good mechanics.

i think he's saying it like how NaVi used to need s1mple to win maps and it feels like vita need zywoo but now NaVi have more players that feel like they can carry matches

yes they lack firepower because magisk and dupreeh are not what they used to be apex is doing some stupid plays sometimes as yekindar said just rifling and rushing like noob misutaa and zywoo are not playing their best game also misutaa was much much better in 2021
