Nah Liquid 2019 was basically the level of astralis during that time. They actually played good team-based cs during that time.

LMAO Goldfish memory, Liquid 2019 contended Astralis 2018 - GREATEST TEAM OF ALL TIME almost all year and they dominated even in 2019 and their main power was individual skill of players, so they were definitely better.
They had Prime Elige, Twistzz and NAF in one team FFS, how were they not better than ENCE XD? Such a goldfish memory SMH

i think it's closer than ppl think. liquid literally just used their aim and got into sites. ence is slightly more tactic-based. overall it's very close but i'll give the nod to liquid since most of the stuff that they did in 2019 would still work today

i think that's pretty fair, elige was on a whole nother level in 2019(best rifler and entry in the world, not even close), while spinx has only been in elite form this year.

TL 2019 was a different beast compared to ence still.
They have 3 insane stars similar to 2019, but Twistzz NAF Elige were like all top 10 players. while Spinx is top 10 while dycha is idk maybe top 20? hades is just good.
Ence is not anywhere close.
But I'm rooting for them. Great underdog story.

Note the people who agree with this take’s flags. Literally entirely Finnish cope thread (ence isn’t even Finnish anymore btw). Ence is not anywhere close to 2019 liquid. Liquid was the best team in the world by a wide margin, and ence is pretty undebatably #3 or lower. Liquid has 3 star riflers who carried a fear aura with them into games (especially Elige). Ence has one guy who could be argued to have a fraction of that aura.

I’d argue (and this is probably just cope) that liquid was still the best team in 2019 even with astralis. Yeah they didn’t win the majors, but they also didn’t do the astralis strat of not playing for 3 months, then hard antistratting every decent team they played against. Remember, at starladder they got 2-0d by NRG. Liquid actually played their own game and dominated while astralis couldn’t play their game or they would have been dominated.
