Well that is a sudden question Yesterday i already wrote kinda big message about it, but the thread got 404d At first i gotta say that i'm fully against the war at least because we have a lot of problems to solve here in motherland, no need to fight somewhere else before they're done. Besides we have demographical issues, and no way there's at least 1 reason to send thoudsands of young men to death. Imo the old man made a lot of mistakes since 2014, which slowed the development of our country. Even though we're still better than many others in terms of life quality (many people will argue here, but i can judge because i used to live in other countries for a while) So, talking about the "special operation", i guess it was necessary to finish it quick to avoid great casualities. I mean, the whole world thinks putin gone crazy and hates us, russians, for starting the war, even though we're not having the real war. The old man is scared to start a mobilization because he's scared of his own people xd, this is why we still don't have massive amount of people fighting in the Ukraine. So I guess he fucked up at his plans, even though I dunno what exactly he wanted to achieve and what reasons he had to set our quiet life on fire. Now we're facing one of the worst possible results: the long conflict putin can't turn around and the ukraine won't surrender, so... Idk, the things are looking pretty bad to me. I have a couple of friends in the Ukraine and i'm glad they're fine (two of them had to leave Kharkov for their own safety). Me and my gf wanted to leave Russia until this madness over, but we didn't like other places and decided to go back and wait before the old man dies or smth like that xd
