IF faze wins
Portugal Worth3d
> Karrigan oldest player to ever win a major. > First major W to every player in the team. > First international team EVER to win a major. > Beating previous major champions and the GOAT. > First roster to win a major after being together for 5 months! I wish faze goodluck today. I like both teams very much but i'm slightly leaned for faze because they'll make history if they win. Even tho yday na'vi looks scary :) If they lose, it's fine, b1t and s1mple deserve another major as well. <3

2022-05-22 22:36
Dont know why i thought he won a major with liquid
2022-05-22 22:46
Twistzz would've won four Tier 1 events (Katowice, EPL S15, Blast PREMIER Spring Groups 2022) with Faze Clan, and an intel grand slam. Stew on the other hand would've won the intel grand slam & the major. Stewie hasn't won Katowice yet. So Twistzz, will definitely become a more decorated player than Stew.
2022-05-22 14:57
Safe to say both stew and twistzz are now the most decorated NA player but twistzz is set to take the NA GOAT from stew at this pace. Stew is basically done now, pretty much ruined his own career tbh. Too much ego.

He has to win a second grand slam and then he'll become the most decorated NA player
2022-05-22 16:03
1 reply
No, because if he wins this major. He would have Katowice and EPL S15 under his belt. Which are two extra tournaments that Stewie doesn't have under his belt.

gambit is technically the first international team to win a major (and navi is the second) so rather first english-speaking international team to win it

learn what "international" is maybe? merriam-webster.com/dictionary/internati.. team with kazakhs, a russian and a ukrainian is an international team, but they all speak russian as a native language, that's why i said "technically"

I mean they all hail from the same region (CIS). In faze you have nordic players, eastern European players and a north American player.

GTFO with your dictionary. In CS, if a team has the core (at least 3 players) from the same country, the team is considered to be from that country. Everybody knows what international means in general context, but it seems you can't comprehend that in this case that definition does not apply.
2022-05-22 16:25
2 countries= international do u even are have english
2022-05-22 13:32

so you say navi is also an international team. NOT INTERNATIONAL in CS standards. in other contexts, YES. its not that hard to comprehend.

#24 how does majority kazakh (not full-kazakh) make them a mono-national team?
2022-05-22 12:50
Gambit was CIS region. There's not a single international team that has won a major.

It's just weird to mention it the way he did. When every csgo players, caster, analyst and everyone who exists and lives from the professional scene says that there will never be an international team that wins a major. And everyone keeps saying that no international team won a major. Because everyone counted that gambit team as CIS as they all did speak the same language during the games.

I'd be shocked if Faze didn't win. Roster is 2stronk with Rain performing. Would be cool for a B1t mvp though.

Broky struggled so far in the play offs and electronic woke up in play offs so they need broky, we will see

I think faze needs all 5 players, not only broky to wake up. Because karrigan for example was quiet on dust2 and that was a struggle

Yeah I agree but broky is their worst player after karrigan but its karrigan so you know its okay

Hmmm. You're usually right, are you talking about broky performance this event or in general? Because twistzz has been performing worse in general ( legend stage and 1st game in playoffs ) I think everyone in faze other than rain is underperforming xD

S1mple mentioned on a interview last year after he won the major that no international team will ever win the major. He was obviously talking about a team who talks english, players from different region who need all to adapt and find the same 'whole'. Na'vi and any other team that has won majors so far, all of them did speak 'home' language ( CIS REGION ) for na'vi/gambit :).

i took FaZe to win on Pickem but i will Bet Money on Navi so i have 100% Winrate coolW
2022-05-22 14:33
What 2 finals for NaVi! First vs one of the best G2 roster of all time (with nexa and Amanek). Probably only behind the French superteam. And second vs karrigan's FaZe with some of the best talents in the game. Both finals vs top 1/2 teams in the world. I'll be happy if karrigan finally gets his Major. Last 2 majors were great, let's hope we will have more of the same in the future!
2022-05-22 16:07
also it will be first major for germany as twistzz is technically a german player rn i hope karrigan finally wins his major

You can see broky's progress ever since he joined, I'm astonished how good he's playing. If him and ropz are in their flow and karrigan figuring a way to not give s1mple any chance, I don't see them losing this.
