+1 i think its happening. ESL Rio, with 50- 80k fans. that shit might be wild. depends on ESL if they wanna go crazy on the arena venue or play it safe, i hope they dont play it safe.

Hopefully not in Brazil or Australia.
Tbh they should put the next major in a country that never really had any events but still got lots of CS players.
Example: Czech Republic, Croatia, Netherlands etc.
Or a US or Canadian city like Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Saint Louis etc

I think the experiment of going to Antwerp, and being a "neutral" land, is a massive success, so it is a good plan to go to somewhere with no events.
BR tho, for history they kinda do deserve one, it's gonna happen sooner than later. Australia would make no sense, terrible time-zone and no fanbase/players. compared to BR

I mean, if i REALLY had to pick between Brazil or Australia then 2000% Brazil.
Better timezone for NA and EU. Brazil is like 4-7 hours behind my time, so its not that bad.
But right now its 5:30am in Perth, 7:30am in Sydney etc

how they would sell all the tickets for a major in st louis? Na CS is dead and st louis isn't near big cities. The point of antwearpen is because they're inside a lot of huge europeans countries, and it's easy to come by car ou plane

PGL did fine. I dont agree with all the hate they got.
few issues, got fixed, IMO MUCH better than Stockholm so they improved from the feedback. I want to have PGL still around and not depend on the only 2 T.Os left.

i mean pandemic was "blooming" back then. was better to jsut move it to EU and delay it for a while until crowd could return
now that everything returns to normal, it would be fair to give them the pending one. In fact, it could be used to promote it even more, and go to a bigger arena.
i believe they sold out all tickets in 3 days, so going to a bigger arena should be thought about

Long time to go, so many changes, in few months CS:GO meta will probably have a shake up hard to know which teams will be good by then

The timezone, and playerbase/fanbase/pros in that region is barely existant.. it has to be bigger before a major goes there
If it was like Dota2, sure, and they even making their TI in Singapore, but that's just complete different scenario, where Dota2 is massive there.

After seeing the Golden hornets, i agree on a Major in France.
Seeing how they supported all the teams the way they did, i absolutely respect that attitude to go to the Major, even when VIT was eliminated.

Brazil, Australia, Canada. Honestly I’d love a major in Toronto or Vancouver. The NA scene needs a boost and the crowds in Atlanta, Boston and Columbus were great.
