tbf i dont think going straight to the final is a good idea. the final day can not be that short imo. you need something that entertains the crowd and fills the event. For me a 3rd place match does that.

i would prefer showmatches. no one cares about 3rd place. but this showmatch wasnt fun at all, and the old one wasnt that fun either. i wish they made showmatches with some storylines or narratives, like how in stockholm they would have had thorin play with people he have had beef with like device. apparently it was supposed to happen but pgl pulled out and cph flames were kind enough to fill in.

They should do major final rematches with old legends in the time slot before. Or they should make actual good content pieces like summit does, I usually never watch the showmatch

More often than not, the 3rd place games are more exciting than the finals. Same with semis. Not this time though. But like Astralis vs T2fluke (1/2) + navi vs faze (3/4) would make the final day better,
