Seriously Man. You should see the last year Blast series and ESL competitions. They were far better in terms of what PGL did in Major.

They didn't host a 24 team tournament across 3 weeks after hosting several RMR tournaments. Of course their production is better but PGL still did a good job this major

Yes that point I agree. But when you are hosting a Major, it should be amazing. People says Major is the CS World Cup. It should be like a carnival or big festival. May be its largely due to Belgium not having a CS GO team. But that level of aweness I really missed. The stage kind of looked dark and looked like they do not have enough lights.

aug/krieg was boring as shit astrallis played so well that there was literally no competition, imo that was the best cs that has ever been played but it was boring

I think the firerate was slowed for the krieg and the price was put back to where it was for the scoped guns. a1-s got buffed. Meta changed. Maybe someone else can add what I missed.

Yeah they got nerfed, both had its firerate reduced, and then additionally the AUG had its unscoped accuracy reduced a lot, and the SG had its price increased

They were cheap autonoobs at that time, even T2-3 teams dominated top teams like Faze and outaim them because they decided to stick with ak and m4.

Krieg was also ass to play against. I quit playing for a while because it was so ridiculous. Now the m4a1-s spam/laser beam is giving me similar vibes, but it is not nearly as bad.

There are other factors yeah but it was sort of boring to watch astralis dominate every major final against heavy underdogs in 2019

This is only for a handful of teams like Furia, Imperial,Vitality. Most of the teams especially the CIS ones are passive as hell either hard baiting or doing stall wars with utility.

starladder berlin had like 800k final viewers this major had 2mil finals + 10 games or so with over 1mil even if the last map was anticlimactic, it was entertaining quick CS with no underdog bullshit lucky bracket run to get railed in the finals by the favorite

there was no ultimate underdogs except Flames probably and Furia to some extent as they have declined from their pre-Major form, every single team that made playoffs could put up a fight against anyone

I didn't like the observing during major final. Camera switched between players and teams too fast. Sometimes the player might change several times in just a couple of seconds. Felt like the observer wanted to get all frags shown and the overall picture was a minority thing. Many of the player changes were completely useless. It made it hard for me to follow and enjoy the final.

This is true too. Final wasn't the best game of the major. For example Faze-Spirit and Faze-NiP were way more entertaining.

Navi didn't play like shit, FaZe didn't allow them to play their best on Nuke, hence why they beat them. Navi almost turned this 180 if it were not for 2x amazing ropZ plays at the end of Inferno.

I wouldn't call it entertaining. The first map was nice to watch, but the second one was pretty 1-sided, a final with 1-sided map is not really entertaining, unless you're a fan of the dominating team. And yes 10 rounds is still 1-sided. So no, the final wasn't that good.
