#227 despite what hltv users say, I think hallzerk is an excelent awper. but, yes, he needs to breathe other airs so he can grow and become more consistent/experienced (even tho this veteran lineup needs young talents), imo.
#180 this lineup would be dope with Joel! krimz, f0rest and olof are still delivering good counter strike, so an igl with recent experience + 1 young talent rushing the game with aimbot-like aim would be the best choice. I only have a few doubts: about team chemistry and how will they grow their young talents if the roster becomes addicted to old metas, since 4/3 players would be veteran champions (putting performance aside). and I agree with you, this would be the best possible lineup after hiring cph)...
even if they don't succeed adjusting their competitiveness like Imperial, it would still be worth it for both fnatic and fans.
#259 you got the budget idea! idk if fnatic is short on money, but I guess they are. and your options are viable in a market point of view. but I doubt it a lot - ALEX and smooya are totally out of question: they have recent bad experiences with fnatic org/remaining roster and they are not as good as the fans think, imo. smooya is a top awper indeed, but skill is not everything... and we have other skilled awpers available (if you want to develop his potential, you can also hire a 17yo talent with a good personality and admiration for the veterans, and would be cheaper as well). ALEX is not as bad as his haters think, but faaaar worse than his defensors think. He delivered good job in vitality, but the roster skill was stronger than their tactics. He could be a good igl in vitality but the point is, can he deliver the same performance with other rosters/orgs? Imo (again) he needs to readapt in t2/3 to prove his consistence, since he had a precipitated hype.
At the end of the day, all my speculations are what they are: speculations. We don't know what happens behind the scenes. So it is very funny talking bs in hltv hahaha
