ok, round 4 to round 5, (faze win round 4) their loss bonus drops by 2! ok, round 5 to round 6, (faze win round 5) their loss bonus drops by 1! ok, round 7 to round 8, (NIP win round 7) their loss bonus drops by 2! ok, round 8 to round 1, (NIP win round 8) their loss bonus drops by 1!

i think i understood it but i cant explain, you shoulve taking screenshots with your mouse hovering over these bars so it says how much they'll get but basically ez to notice it drops by 2 when they win a round after losing, if they win after winning it drops by 1, i think otherwise u wouldnt ever run out of loss bonus for example after series of lost rounds u won 1 and then insta lost 1 u would get max loss bonus again or some shit like that,

IDK its hard to process for my brain but i do think everything is written correctly there its just valves implementation i think, they needed to do that, it doesnt actually drop by 2 i think because if u lost few rounds, then u win a round, and then lose a round, ur loss bonus shoudlnt be accumulated, u get ur current one (decreased even) , but for next losses it will be accumulated, so i think thats why they drop it by 2, to prevent this accumulation on 1st loss, it sounds weird in theory but works correct in practice i think

Yes I got u the first time. and yes I think they should drop it by 2. but read that that might lead to teams throwing a round intentonally to reset enemy economy

well in the past when loss bonus would just fully reset to 1400 (even if it was at 3400) i think it was a very viable tactic, nowadays not worth it imo but i remember back in the day team loses 5 rounds in a row, wins 1, and if they lose next, u already know its gg :D so sometimes i wished they would not buy immediately, but do eco like 4 times, and get 10k+, and then start buying, to prevent hard reset if they lose next, but unfortunately ive never seen any team do it
