Because of hierarchy. NiKo & huNter- - sigmas (lead the way themselves and for themselves). JaCkz - alpha (father of m0NESY). m0NESY - unknown yet (he's just 17, but he seems to be about beta level soon, which is not bad). Aleksib - omega (wasn't respectable in any team he played - ENCE, OG, G2). If NiKo & huNter- want to win, they need sigma IGL. The guy who will be respectable for his calls by dynamic duo, but also will be appreciating opinion of team. In his time with FaZe he had alpha IGL karrigan, so they had conflicts. Now they don't have conflicts with Aleksib, they just don't listen to him at all. BlameF would be perfect choice for them when Astralis disbands.

Yep, Aleksi basically tells people what to do and make sure they know what they're doing in which g2 players are way over that already. He's more suited to lead young talents, average t2 players coming to t1, people with around 1.10 ratings, etc not hltv top 20s

+1, that's also the reason why Astralis didn't qualify for major, they had to have blameF as IGL instead of gla1ve. Although you can ask me how then degster listens to chopper? Chopper is a well known sigma, while degster is an alpha.
