Contrary to Gold Nova belief, the vast majority of people don’t want to be a main awp. Usually is forced upon them anyway. Take the best AWPer of all time Device for example; he was forced to take the awp. Or look at the new one on top Broky, who didn’t even come into Faze as an AWPer but it eventually got put on him. Your way of thinking about this is all wrong.

S1mple was a hybrid at first aswell then got forced to awp. Zywoo also isn’t a huge fan of awping and put a lot of ct side awping onto shox at times

broky was the awper in Epsilon, but due to roles n stuff, when he joined olof moved to the awping role and broky was made to play rifle. then they switched it back when they realized broky was more comfortable with the awp and they ended up winning blast copenhagen

I’d argue that only applies to like S1mple and Zywoo and Device. Most other main AWPs aren’t the best on their team, and outside of CT side and AWPing they are a liability.
