One thing Gaules said right, after this online 2020-2022 era, a lot of new miraculous players just vanished from csgo, I wonder why...
One thing is winning online, but you need experience to win on a big live lan event, the pressure is no joke. You see this is heavy with Imperial, for example. Fallen and Fer are playing way better in offline events.

The year has yet to continue and there are still great teams in the tier 1/tier1.5 scene right now.
I'd say it's a good competitive year for CS:GO easily.

this won't be a competitive era only if FaZe gets the Grand slam, then you can say that FaZe is destroying everyone. But all the tier1 finals have been very competitive this year
Also lots of upsets from teams out of top 10 this major (Spirit, CHF, Imperial)
And lots of disappointments too (Liquid, Cloud9, Astralis)
I think this really is one of the most competitive eras in recent history
tl;dr - competitive era, yes

Yeah, I feel like now I think G2 and Vitality will get more competitive now that they have got enough time , might as well win some trophies before Rio who knows and then we might see the most competitive Major probably if that happens..
