ok so its totally understandable for ukrainian org to cut ties with a russian player but when you are a top1 contender removing igl seems to be dumb to say the least
there arent many replacements either, jerry is just as russian as boomich + navi probably wouldnt want to do business with forze so its not an option, while taking someone from tier2-3 is obviously a heavy downgrade

Why do you think they would not do business with ForZe? Just because it's a Russian org or for something else?
Jerry is young enough to move as well if he's not married yet, and he might be willing to join the second best team in the world, plus he's probably the best Russian-speaking IGL right now.
I also find it unlikely that they would go for another Russian, but it would be difficult to find another IGL, I suppose they could look to Georgia, Bulgaria or the Baltics, but I don't know of any good IGL in any of those countries.

Thinking the same lol. Altho if they want to keep russian comms, finding ANY igl is not very easy. Basically most russians are ruled out and dunno if ukrainian igls even exist. Not much to work with..

reforming a new player to tier1 cs takes months if not years, boomich was in navi since ilke 2019 and if u compare him when he just joined to the latest months its 2 different players almost

addition of b1t gave him a lot of options to play along, with flamie he had to make tactics specfically centered around s1mple and elec which would be difficult for any igl

its pretty clear from navis point, they dont want someone whos living in russia because Navi dont want to support the russian war in anyway.

I have read everything you wrote, but there are priorities, so the competetive part of it is 2nd priority, having no ties to russian government in any way, even taxes, is 1st priority. there is no debate possible for navi when someone wants to live in russia.
so basically your whole threat is useless, because yes its sad losing boomble, but its not important in this case.

This. I don't understand why so many don't get it? Yes, from competitive point of view this move is quite bad or debatable but considering navi position it is rather adequate.
that said, nothing against russian people, same for navi who dont have anything against russian people, but they dont want to pay taxes to russia, simple as that.

I think boombl4 is pretty overrated as igl. But it is problematic indeed to find ANY russian speaking igl to replace him.
Chopper would surely be upgrade but not sure if he can relocate or if navi is willing to pay spirit. Or if he even would want to. (Hard to turn down navi tho) Also would be shame to break spirit since they were godlike in major and have massive potential.
