Sorta but when I think of devices dominance it feels like it's cuz he had the luxury of insanely reliable teammates and strategies that were miles ahead of everyone else. Whereas the other "top 1's" are their cuz they succeed in spite of their team downsides and are just naturally cracked.

device is so underrated individually lol. Even on a NIP team that constantly had a new 5th and had the most inconsistent star rifler ever in rez he was definitely elevating the teams level and still had great rating. Ofc your stats are better when you win everything, that even applies to s1mple for the past 2 years.

Nip is (was) lacking a consistent star rifler. For a long time it was hampus. But yeah I too think hampus is not the best IGL, I wouldve liked NIP with another IGL and hampus with more freedom as a star player. Now with Hampus Brollan Device Es3tag an IGL I could see that team win a major.

Actually karrigan peaked at #4 in 2021 when he had olof with .96 rating rain with 1.02 twistzz with 1.13 and broky with 1.10 1.02 1.13 1.10 core meanwhile heroic rn has 1.21 1.09 1.07 and on snappi part karrigan won biggest trophy of year (after major) with stand-in and major with stand in coach

You can see that how good of an coach sAw is by listening what his teammates think about him and seeing how snappi is suddenly top 5 igl when he never was in his career before playing under coaching of sAw, even in ENCEs BTS videos you can see that sAw is working very hard behind the scenes. If team full of ex tier 2 players is suddenly top 3 in the world, then coach has to be doing good work.

I just think they’ve kinda peaked with their current roster. Their t sides are way too execute focused and they have a lot of solid players but Spinx is their only really consistent high level player, and even he drops off a bit more than most “star” players when they play good teams
