easily the most overrated AWPer of the year for a few reasons
1. MVP Katowice, the 'biggest' event of the year to that point
2. FaZe number 1, so he will be inflated individually for that
3. pretty flashy AWP has some good highlights. Even though he is passive stylistically he still has a fun and memorable style, he's often left in clutches, still takes risks with things like no scopes and unexpected moments of aggressive positioning
4. He's pretty hot ;)

broky top1 is kind of a meme at this point among faze fans because of kato ( although i wish it were true )
but you absolutely cannot deny his achievements this year back him up for atleast top3
as for skill, its not like he doesnt have the skill to back it up, its just that in a team like Faze you wont always have insane ratings to show

idk i feel like up until like 1 or 2 events everyone would agree that ropz was the best player on that team by far. he's a top 3 awper overall this year, but right now in terms of skill id say he's barely top 5, more like 6th

skillwise twistzz rain and ropz are all potential top 5 players, but obviously brokys stats and highlights are going to be more better and frequent because he plays the awp. ropz and twistzz have much much more impact imo

i just wanted to see this forum's honest opinion on him cause it always seems like people only bring him up to shit on him and praise other awpers
he's still a really skilled player imo although impact might not be consistent

i mean, even s1mple hasnt been that impressive this year
i dont even know who deserves top1 this year cause no one has been exceptional but there are a lot of players who have played equally good
its just that faze have slowly settled into their roles so broky probably wont ever get those huge rating streaks again

s1mple has a 1.31 rating in big events vs top 20 teams, by far the best player. he had like 1 off grand final
Tho twistzz is a star he clears space for the team by running in front which igls does in other teams does! Ropz is like blamef so you know how he farms his stats! No offense to ropz he is still kind a equal or better than twsitzz but seeing twistzz play bad position and playing for the team is taking a hit on his stats!

nah i disagree, ropz doesn't play for stats. whenever he's last alive it looks bad because the gameplan didn't work out. faze don't play around him exclusively, astralis however play around blamef. he doesn't know when to get aggressive, gets 50% exits and trade frags.

Yeah he's a great AWP, skill wise guaranteed top 3 I can't agree. S1mple and sh1ro also have excellent teams but they still outshine their teams consistently (sh1ro less so with ax1le breathing down his neck). This kind of argument is fair when said player is being sacrificed for the team to look better e.g. Farlig is heavily sacrificed and a bit of a nade throwing side piece on Astralis for some of the riflers to do work. But Broky is not like this at all - FaZe is structured in a way where Broky is getting the favorable room to play as he desires - as a passive round closer in low player scenarios
the only exception to this is the ropz double AWP setup which takes some room away from broky. Other than that it's clear Twistzz, Rain and especially Karrigan set up these rounds perfectly for broky and ropz to close them.

No, not even close. Probably, Simple, Zywoo and Shiro will take the top 3 awpers again. However i think that Broky can become top-10 HLTV

1.00 Impact rating. Kinda embarrassing for a top 1 team.
MVP of kato, runner up for MVP of EPL 15, EVP at major ofc shitty last 2 events but even as a broky fan, zywoo eye test wise is better than broky but imo depending on how the rest of the year goes zywoo could rank below broky imo.
I also think broky has far higher potential than sh1ro, just the stats between the two dont compare and C9 persists to be a top 5 team placing sh1ro higher

Unless Faze (re)start their era I dont see broky outplacing Zywoo. Sure he has his MVP and EVPs but ratingwise Zywoo is on a massive rise again and at some point vitality has to make consistent playoffs. Zywoo statwise is already far ahead of broky, especially when u look at other stats but hltv 2.0 rating. I think broky could easily make top 10, top 5 will already be hard for him, depends how the 2nd half of the year + Cologne plays out though

All depends on faze and broky really, Zywoo's a great player and a solid stone who's consistantly gonna rate high it all just depends on what brokys gonna do, broky has the ability to be a top 5, top 3 player he just needs to know how to stay consistant in that form and perform to that level. But I do agree with you to a sense

Broky + Faze would have to go on a Navi run imo. Then he would outplace zywoo... Well if zywoo holds his level/ continues to improve it over the year

clueless, i dont want to go into talking but broky is not higher than top5 awp'er and it is saying from his nation, no hater, i would put him even less in top, sometimes atleast half year ago had stupid play's that you dont put that player even in top8, well hes good on keeping hes rating good, that's faceit skills.. or some selfish skills, not sure tho

He peeked at Katowice but his performances dipped right after. He still performed to a good level but not top3 worthy. Broky is probably the most passive AWPer on both CT and T side in tier1. Low impact rating despite being on the best team in the world and winning several trophies. It's similar to sh1ro and Jame but without the Jame time.

I feel that if degster gets a good team he could easily surpass broky. He might even surpass him now mechanical wise but it's unrealistic to place him higher with all the achievements Broky has had so far. m0NESY also has the potential to be much better but he lacks the experience and still misses too many easy shots due to his flashy style. How he is going to do in Cologne, I have no clue. Depends on how well FaZe does overall.
At this point in time Broky is still top 3 in terms of Awpers. sh1ro has ax1le, zywoo has Dupreeh and magisk, s1mple has b1t and Electronic. But Broky has to fight for frags with twistzz, rain, and ropz. Impact rating is low based off Rating 2.0 standards but just watch some of the biggest rounds faze need broky shows up big time for Faze. Only awpers above broky are of course s1mple and zywoo with him being neck and neck with sh1ro primarily edging sh1ro out based off him and his team performing better in the 2 biggest events of the year thus far
