Every top 10 team has either a star player, with a rating of at least 1.2, or divided performance, with multiple players above 1.1. ENCE is the only outlier, Spinx is the only player above 1.1, but he has nowhere near the stats of a star.

Can you give some examples of star players? S1mple, Sh1ro, ZywOo, NiKo, and Yuurih are star players. They all have above 1.2. They are even closer to 1.3 than 1.2. FaZe, ENCE, NIP, Heroic and Spirit have the model of sharing responsibility. And even then Stavn and REZ are around the 1.2 rating, though I wouldn't call them stars.

REZ is more or less a star himself, his problem is/was/will-always-be,-apparently consistency, but he and brollan both have the ability to "take over a game", although they aren't showing it nearly as much as they have in the past but I don't think looking at ratings like this is a way to define exactly who is supposed to be a star inside a team, you should look more at their setups/who are they trying to set up with certain plays to then acknowledge exactly who is the supposed star some teams have more than one too, although their ratings don't quite accompany it

Yes, I'm not determining who is a star based on ratings. REZ shares with Brollan, he's not a star. Stavn has far better stats than any teammate, and he's even above the 1.2, but he's not a star. Ax1le has stats nearly as good as Sh1ro, but he is not the star player of the team. You see who is the star on the team, and then look at the ratings, and they just happen to all be above 1.2. Spinx doesn't have the role of a star, so his stats are definitely good enough, he is supposed to share responsibilities in the team with Hades and Dycha, it's them who are underperforming.

Comparison is useless. ENCE has 1 player with rating above 1.1, but he doesn't have the stats of a star. FaZe has 4 players with rating above 1.1, so they don't need a star player. And yet they have three players who would be able to do it if they had to.

If you look at star players, they all have a rating of over 1.2, I'm just comparing to stars. The lowest rating of any star player in the top 10 is Yuurih, with a 1.22 rating. Obviously Spinx does not have the role of a star player in the team, but the rest of his team isn't good enough to share responsibility with them. Also, why do you sort for LAN? If you want to sort instead of just using the standard everything from the past 3 months, then use Big Events at least.

spinx was kind of a star player for most of the past major. he seems to be lacking consistence and the team feels it when it happens

Yeah it's almost impossible to be a consistent star fragger, there's only a few truly consistent ones.

players should be "role fluid", like playing more aggressive/support according to their performance in the map. sometimes the other team just has a perfect reading, but when the player isnt doing well in their duels, they should be able to recognize that and adapt their playstyle to fit the team and let someone else do the fragging
