I went to paris, and i liked it. Three major downsides tho: it smells like pee and poop all over the street (idk why french pee in the street??) ppl dont seem to wash either?? and last but not least, 99% of restaurant on main streets are tourist traps, can be avoided if u do some research first though!

Dirty EU city, dudes try to tell you that EU is a perfect utopia and then they visit the most famous and idolized EU city and it's filled with homeless, racism, and smells like shit and piss at every footstep.

Been twice and can say it is overpriced. Atmosphere feels just off, dirty streets, too many expensive places and not enough cheaper ones, people are very rude aswell. Some sightseeing places are worth it I guess but would never go again.

I live in Paris and love it. People just go to Eiffel tower and get scammed then hate the whole city. Its one of the most beautiful city in the world, only a few italian cities come close of what Paris has. Most people are dumb tourists that only going to dumb tourist places in the most touristic city in the world thats their fault. There are hundreds of incredible things to do in this city and none of them are near Champs élysées or Eiffel tower.

Paris is lovely. You just have to avoid all the touristy spots/bars/restaurants

mostly ppl just get their opinion about what they see on the internet about paris "rude people, dirty streets immigrants blabla" but 99% are ignorant about the city, and 1% only visit the eiffel tower and other overrated places so literally they have 0 IQ, you'll meet 0 french people under the eiffel tower, only tourists just like the rest of the overrated places that everyone are visiting but yeah actually you need to visit places with less tourists and its wonderful, tho its overpriced so i don't recommend, south of france is better. In reality only rich french ppl are living in Paris and fact, is that Paris has like 15x more tourists than actual inhabitant

Pee in the street and urine odor -) Personally living in a very wealthy arrondissement I never come accross those things but I guess yeah some places do smell like piss but making it a generality is mind baffling to me, even with metro lines only ones that go to sketchy places have that odor, and again if you go to somewhere like Châtelet-Les-Halles obviously it's not gonna smell good, it's where everyone gets drunk as shit and where people from the suburbs of Paris come. Never have I walked across the 1, 2, 3 , 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 16, arrondissement and smelled any piss or seen anyone poop on the street. Expensive -) Yeah I guess if you're broke or come from a part of the world where everything is cheap sure but as someone who's been to London and other major cities the prices are on par and sometime less expensive. Rude people -) That one I genuinely don't understand, we are indeed busy but I've rarely seen a FRENCH person (and I insist french) be rude to some foreigners just out of boredom. I've had friends from the UK and other countries come here and everytime they had a blast and said people were nice even when I wasn't with them. At the end of the day I think it's mostly people wanting to act edgy and see internet stereotypes "Omg look at me I don't like Paris I think it's shit you shouldn't believe that it's beautiful" but every real life person I know that went to Paris has enjoyed every second of it except for some unfortunate event like not being careful in a sketchy place in the north etc There are many dreamy places, hence the reason I ususally recommend people who visit paris to actually go with a tour guide because it can get confusing and if you don't know what the fuck you're doing you're gonna end up walking around the Tour Eiffel and think "omg so overrated" while only seeing 1% of what Paris has to offer

Most people have this specific picture from movies in their head. If you actually visit the city you can clearly see the impact of mass migration. Furthermore, there are burning streets and the city is really dirty.

People outside EU think it's some amazing capital being one of the nicest and best cities in the world bla bla bla but in reality anyone with above 70iq knows it's a filthy dirty shithole destroyed by mass immigration. But I'm not gonna lie Europe itself is pretty damn overrated. And that's ofc because 90% of people only know stupid ass stereotypes and are pretty uneducated when it comes to cultures, base everything off of mainstream entertainment and stuff they heard as kids.

I have yet to go to any city with a population of 10+ million people that doesn't have at least somewhat of a cleanliness issue. I've been to most major capitals in western Europe and a lot of American cities. Seems like an expectations problem. There is a ton of beautiful spots in Paris.
