The major is the biggest tournament of the year. Blast spring finals, its literally a qualifier for the blast world finals. Thats just facts. Winning a major qualifies you aswell, but the major in no way is a qualifying event for the blast world finals. blast events are essentially meaningless in terms of prestige, history and everything else. Theyre just cash cows for teams. No one remembers who wins blast events, everyone remembers who won kato events or majors

But the reality is that they are still the most important tournaments after kato , major and cologne . I`d rank them equal with EPL (having also the same prize pool)
If your fav team doesn`t win those events that doesn`t mean those tournaments are not important .

agree, NaVi > FluKe Clan, because NaVi won their major, in a historical fashion without dropping a single map, in one of the most competitive majors to date, while FaZe got lucky that 4 top teams are completely rebuilding (G2/Vita) or in stand-in hell (Astralis, NiP) and like 5 CIS teams got completely fucked because of the invasion.
Lucky timing by Faze but now we see their usual mediocrity again :)

I highly doubt it.... FaZe still gets poins in the rootbeer cup. Unless they get knocked out by ENCE fast then NaVi is maybe top 1 but tbh i dont really care either way :/

They had points from last year and they kept securing QF ,SF , got to the final of the major, you dont have to win to keep points, good placing also matters
Nope,Na'Vi will lose their points for number 1 places at tournaments, while FaZe still has a lot of points from Major in 2022.
