is this news not like 3 years old at this point lol
I partially agree with the decision too. Rivals with china and then they get to control an app targeting your children where they can promote anything. Yea that's pretty smart to ban it.

pubg mobile or the pc one
2022-06-29 05:34
I guess they are banning all chinese apps
2022-06-29 05:35
Internet explorer got discontinued, right?
2022-06-29 05:35
For pubg we got an Indian version (bgmi) same game just Indian servers
2022-06-29 05:36
chinese apps were being banned coz they were misusing data. i'm surprised the US didn't do the same thing, they were mulling over it for so long
2022-06-29 05:37
Also pubg isn't banned , they just made a Indian version of it named bgmi which is totally controlled by India

Kids used to speak 10k dollars from parents and buy skins, always playing in mobile ( since its the 1st time they experience competitive experience) and fighting with parents for the game but the real reason was both apps used to send data to china and belong to chinese developer so it was banned as a distraction by impotent indian govt.

Don’t forget the Government IT terms they have now (WhatsApp was almost banned) , VPN companies have to share User information with the Government, Banning tweets and accounts that goes against current regime, Arrests under whatever government feels is a Question to them, Etc etc i can go on all day, and yet India claims to be Democratic nation(Hypocrisy at its best)

I thought this thread was regarding something else... But nvm

Whats up Internet Explorer ?
On other note, its more political driven than anything else. China and India have cold relationship. They trespass border. We fight back. Then We apply Sanctions and they apply sanctions. Thats about it.
Thats what it is... Basically they wanted to avoid people buying premiums of these apps and send money to china/chinese companies. So they banned it under the pretext of them stealing data. Which I think is true in case of TikTok. Now they are partnering with Oracle to keep US data in USA.
2022-06-29 07:32
besides this Internet Explorer moment, is FreeFire still banned?
2022-06-29 07:56
