karrigan is complete if we look at the history of his cs career, not just go
s1mple, Zywoo, device, b1t, olof?, Cold??
igl thing is redundant imo. it's a very specific role, and if u "can igl" doesn't mean you are a good igl (was niko a good igl? was s1mple an igl at all?). imo it just doesn't matter
rest are good points. all, s1mple, zywoo, niko, device are complete players. also naf i think
simple zywoo shiro jame cadian...
i think electronic can go up there but idk about his awping
you can't tell somebody can't igl because you don't know enough english... language has nothing to do with igl idiot
Define "good" and "able to igl"
How I understand it would be something like tier 1 potential of good. There are many that could fit the criteria.
Es3tag Rez and Hampus
Jame and Qikert
If you want to make the criteria harder, I don't think either of S1mple or niko would not fit. S1mple for igl, Niko for awp.
That would be Olaf on his peak. He was the absolute 'complete' player.
Bruh FPL and T1 are not the same
I can agree. I would add dev1ce, but he is less skilled, so mb dorsn't count (and in the past snax, Pasha and neo, but history)
And for me ZywOo would be soon. He is 5 or 6 years younger than s1mple or NiKo. He is fucking insane in clutches and pressure moments. He is too unexperienced to express himself, but in good system he should pick it up quite easlie (pls Magisk IGL and zonic in full-controle mode)
And honorable mantions: stavn (just too unexpierienced as star), blameF (didn't AWP a lot, but should be good 2nd; but he is unproven as this big-number player), and ropz (idk, isn't that conviencieng star that we wants him to be)
complete player without utility usage kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
I’m not putting these players individually on the same level, but all have shown they can play any weapon and any role at the highest level.
Considering all your aeguments: Tabsen Niko S1mple
straight up art, but his playstyle is different.
Im kinda surprised that many people forget shox.
He’s played every single role I think and was really good at it
it's gotta be s1mple - azr
shox stewie coldzera art tabsen
Fuck no you don't need to be able to IGL to be a complete player, you maybe need to be able to bring up an idea or read here and there due to experience but igling is a different feat.
ropz and stavn are kinda up there aswell. Both are also secondary callers and awpers in their respective teams afaik.
Clearly talking about Olof
A lot of players can fill 4 categories but none can truly fill all 5
If NiKo is complete with his igling skills then you can scratch that category cuz by that logic everyone can igl
Tabsen is an easy call there, all round player and a great businessman.
Stavn is young but he's there as an all round player, cadian mentioned at least a few times that Stavn has ideas for calling and for midrounds so even tho he's not an IGL in my eyes it's good to be able to call mid rounds when needed.
Hobbit - he does not awp much but when he grabs it he's solid. Nafany talked about Hobbit being very involved in calling in Gambit as a secondary caller and even flat out calling entire rounds him self. Currently he's probably top 5 players who make least mistakes and his lurks are S+ tier.
Shox is someone who is easy to forget, over so many years he did it all and even now he's one of the best mid round callers. His awp is sick, his sense is top tier, form drop by joining Liquid is not a way to judge him.
Dupreeh is also very flexible, in Vitality's comms videos you can hear him calling stuff mid round so I'd say that's enough considering that all other requirements he has over the roof, insane rifler, good awp when playing secondary, sense, timing all was always solid with him.
Amanek I do not think he needs introduction, I think his awp is not bad, just in old G2 his awp was more supportive so it's hard to judge for it.
Stavn? Maybe not igl, but otherwise looks quite complete to me.
Can AWP (even was the Main AWP in BIG one time)
Can read the game well
Can IGL (and quite decent at it too)
