kaze has been a good awper for god knows how long but he's been stuck in asian scene for forever.
tbh i dont see JamYoung making it out of asian scene if kaze couldnt.
imagine asian superteam with kaze, jamyoung, bntet, sk0r, and an IGL (I'm not sure if I should put ImpressioN, V4D1M, or advent cus I don't know their language skills except for imp who speaks both english and chinese)
kinda makes sense, mercury feels stronger than xign atm, and i still prefer kaze cus experience, otherwise the only experienced player would be bntet unless u take xign over mercury
Casual players there are a lot.. But people trying to go pro very few.. When major is going on around 11 million people watch TYLOO play. Majors are very important for chinese viewers
That's the point - rare atom shouldn't even be competitive against a team like mibr, but they are. These aren't great teams sure, but were you genuinely expecting rare atom to have such an impact?
asian region deserve to have more slots at tournaments/leagues and invites to t2-3 events in europe just to have chance to get better and prove themself, this region is big and very likely can have couple good top 20-30 teams if got chance to show up.
its hard to get better and show off when you can only play against guy from your region all the time.
one good ? they have been Top 2 in Asia for some years now , even taking down Tyloo after loosing to them again and again. They are Top 1 in Asia atm , they are unluko with their visas and shit to not play in EU for long.
Don't really think JamYoung is going to join EU teams cuz the language barrier. It is not like football that even you completely do not speak local language the transfer could still work, communication is just a must in CS and you need to react in blinks of an eye.
Anyway I hope he can try it, it will be so good for him, but the potential time cost just prevents this from happening. He will need 12 month intense language training to get the level needed IMO.
Also, staying in RA is not necessarily bad. RA is such a positive and warm team with so much resilience. Remember the time that Freeman was a beast? Then Tyloo acquired him and he suddenly dropped to a no-namer.
The real problem RA is facing is the age of Kaze and advent. The time window of this lineup is just one or two years, if they missed this golden opportunity they will need to cross the fingers to pray for another good IGL and awper (or hope they can train one of the three young players into those roles.)
