99.99% you dont need to resmoke or just already dont have smoke on B xD this is not like outsite kitchen smoke wich can be usefull this one probably wont be ussed in 999 out of 1000 games

This smoke could be used in 2 ways 1- early so A players can save theirs 2- if Ts are going A So you most likely won’t be peeked from apps while smoking. And if the Ts are in apps, you’d be focused there anyway (not throwing a smoke to palace).

Depends on the setup Let’s say a team plays 2-1-2 which is pretty common from what I experience B players only have to smoke apps while A players can smoke ramp, palace or con So the A players can save util

meh, there is so more value in having a smoke to counter a B execute or to retake A site later. Palace smoke is useless especially if you have at least 2 people in con-jungle area

Sure but that doesnt mean the smoke is useless. Just means the players are dumb. Im always a B Anchor, my aim is shit ( i have shit reaction speed :/ ) but I managed to get high rank anyways with game sense & utility usage. Using a smoke B does almost nothing. Any team with a decent execute will just flash through. I mean hell most of the time you molotov they smoke themselves off so why would throwing a smoke stop them. Its different for palace or ramp ofc. On B its much better to use your smokes for retaking A or smoking somewhere on site so you can play around it and try to get 2-3 kills for your team to win a retake. So a cross map smoke CAN be useful, i only use it like once every 4-5 games but thats better then nothing

Yeah I find myself the B anchor as well, and watching a lot of pros on mirage has buffed my knowledge how to play it. I only use smoke on B if they are taking site, so I do the one-way. I learned smoking entrance doesn't matter in the long run of the round since T's will run through anyway, and the one-way causes a lot of confusion

Yup, one of the best tips i give to players about utility is just try and get creative & picture what would fuck with you. I was against this one team that always jumped van. So i would molly under window & smoke on top of van. So if they go out the window they burn & if they go van they cant see me.

I've gotten better at thinking what I would do if I was in the enemy's position, and what would stop me from defending/pushing from their position. I think the psychological warfare that I'm capable of improved my game-sense a bit

there are lineups to throw palace smoke some wher in ct spawn when the B anchor rotates also when ur A anchor calls "THEY EXECUTING B", this smoke wont reach in time

a good lineup is 1.u can use everygame 2. easy and fast to use 3. vital to the team strategy 4. safe 5. practical for example, the different connector smoke lineups exist from ticket, short, window nest etc. this is because connector is easy and all those lineups are easy and safe to use

In many cases. Lets say its 40 seconds left in a 1v1 and T guy is mid. You throw the smoke and he will probably think you're a so he'd go b. So, far from useless.

Very random tbh, the situation arises only when A anchor needs some help and has no smoke so u can help him, but we always drop 1 smoke at ct spawn whenever making a big rotation

How about late game rotation to A and you want to cut on the place they can come out of. A bit luck based but if it works it can delay the rotation ever so slightly to reposition

You would never call the last guy over from A when u are uncertain of the bomb surely barging inside B site, so u will always have a guy at A who can smoke and think that if they are playing so cut to the time, will he respect the smoke?, ofc not he will have to eventually push out of smoke

it comes in handy more then people think if you pay attention. You can use it earlier in the round so the A players have it later. Especially since as a B anchor you dont usually need a smoke source - im a B anchor.

You are playing A. Early in the round there is B Contact. Your mate on A Starts Rotation. After some pew pew you see yourself in a 1v3 Situation. One T went back to mid to get the bomb they dropped there. While he is runing to B you ez take down the 2 T‘s on the bombsite. Last T will stop and overthink where he will go. You throw this smoke By 0:30/0:25 and he will think you are on A. Ez Game Ez Life
