different skillsets, source is just jumping in quake u need to use guns and time some of them perfectly for boosting. I enjoy both anyway

different tickrates (100 in source vs 128 in go) so gaining speed and strafing feels easier on higher tickrate but css bhopping is "smoothier", you need to try both to understand what i'm talking about all source bhoppers jump in css, csgo bhopping community is kinda dead

Nostalgic :) Yeah, it's mesmerizing, way more complex than cs physics but way more butter-smooth satisfying, pure skill-based.

Gold doesn't get old. Defrag is trick/speed jumping mode of Q3 and it still has a small community competing for fun.

depends on the physics version - vq3 or cpm - vq3 is slower but closer to cs

Would say it's a nice vid if i didn't have the csgo bhop model in my mind, compared to that it looks bad bumping off walls, no strafing, too many times it looked like the dude should've crashed.

i dont like bhoping in quake,in vampiric mode its simillar to cs but in classic its like this,its way smooth and doesn't require strafes

not a huge fan of quake bhops but defrag is awesome :D jump servers on tf2 are also cool
