I took a serious psychiatrist evaluation once at 13 as I was a wayward child It put me above a college grade reading and writing level at the time (no shit, I read a book a week and I liked the classics) I'd say it worked it out ok I wouldn't put much pause by IQ tests anyway, the test was designed to quantify deficiencies in intelligence but it is increasingly meaningless in the other direction

basically, in all the questions I could reply what I want there were so many diffrent tests and they ask like how are these items related and show a picture of 4 random items or which one doesnt fit and you need to say WHY. there were questions when i needed to say whats missing in a picture. or i needed to draw some words and then say those words in order based on my drawings. and much more

It's of course a simplification, but it can be used to compare in some limited ways. Same as for example grades or scores at a SAT.
