I mean yeah compare any grassroots NA team to any EU team and they're utterly terrible, still nice to give actual young unproven teams a chance to compete with the best in the world and (hopefully) improve, which is why they should just scrap the entire EG main roster and just let their academy teams play all the events

That was the idea but they've done exactly nothing with all of their rosters
I am not even sure if going EU is worth it rn for them, not like they have pieces to choose from to become even top 10 team 100% (only if they are ready to spend on yekindar, jks and degster lets say). Most likely they will get a promising top 20 team or so, but same can be done in NA as well

The current roster roster wasn’t good enough
The academy rosters aren’t good enough
They have to do someone to fill the gap. They have too much money invested in partnerships w/ TOs to just send Party Astronauts to get last every time
we are looking at the bottom of the barrel now. NA cs is dead and there are no teams except perhaps liquid that can compete at t1 level. And this liquid lineup is among the last generation of csgo players from NA to be t1.
It is like NA teams were getting better at cs 1.6 when the scene was already flourishing and then they disappeared again until cs go was flourishing. NA orgs and players have always run after quick glory and fame.

All those "NA talents" that were orgless and moneyless, are now getting paychecks and support. They are the ONLY ones investing in the future of NA CS, they are providing opportunity. They want to grow NA CS, while also having a viable team.

They should be sending them to any t2 European tourneys they can get their hands on to get them proper practice and official experience instead of keeping them here in shit na practice

Yea lmao EG is not a charity. They’ve done FAR more than they had to for the NA scene. They sent party astronauts to the pinnacle cup and they got demolished, they clearly aren’t ready to be a main team
