Nope but i believe Cairo is notorious for tourist scams and everyone trying to get a buck out of you. It's best if you go with a tourist agency and a guide
Yes i was in Hurghada once. What do you want to know? My first advice would be to prepare for you people literally draggin your into stores also almost 90% of people trying to approach you is scam

I live in a very touristy city so I'm aware of scams generally. Did you live in central cairo or giza? The latter seems much closer to the touristy stuff and also safer, but it seems like it'd be a hassle moving back and forth. I assume renting a car is out of the equation

I was close to Cario and yes it was kinda hard to get a car. I was mostly travelling by getting a taxi.
It was a really nice tho and i met alot of nice people. But i was very young at that time and i put 10 euro everytime in my passport to get into nightclubs ez x)

We are mostly interested in stuff like mosques, ruins, pyramids etc even if its expensive (the expensive stuff there is like our cheap stuff here), but I'm kinda worried since I never travelled outside the EU and it seems like a trip that you shouldn't organize without a tour guide etc

Don't worry too much about it. Just use ur brain at all times and avoid the typical turist scams. Be ready to be pullied by ur arm when going on the street (First time i was like wtf dude u wanna fight or what?) but its really normal apperently.
There is some really old places when i visted Hurghada with ancient relgion which was really cool. Pyramids was really cool even tho there was a van behind with people with ak47 following us and protecting us x) it was kinda scary but good for our safety.
my #1 tip of travelling in weird countries is just be nice nice and respecful and other people will be 100% same to you its kinda ez
