It was good actually, went there for a football tournament! So I was with my friends and we spent a great time there, and created some memories. Not the best country I've visited, but it was good :)

Beautiful weather and scenery. I went to Lisbon once and enjoyed it a lot, I saw the peacocks at Castelo de São Jorge. If I visited again I would want to go to Porto.

i don't really have anything bad to say about Portugal. i went there for honeymoon with my wife. We traveled by car from Poorland (road trip around Europe), so people were a bit surprised to see Polish license plates. We heard that Portuguese drivers are bad, but i haven't had any troubles on the road and it all seemed normal to me.
We visited Lisbon and Porto, each for few days and some other cities on the way (Beja, Braganca). Portugal is a beautifful and a diverse country.
We encountered lots of great people, all were very friendly and warm. Even if they only knew few words in English, they tried to communicate, which is always nice. We avoided typical tourist places and tried to spend as much time with the locals as possible.
I think there's definitely too much tourists in Lisbon. The city doesn't feel welcoming because of it. At first i thought it was only around main tourist attractions, but it turned out it's also on smaller streets. But I can't really blame them, the city is beutiful and I went there too ;)
Porto felt much nicer too me, more hospitable.
Food is completely different from what I expected, but it's simple and amazing. Nothing goes as good with your morning coffe on the square as pasteis de nata :)
Tl:dr
Beautiful country, great food, amazing people, Lisbon = beautiful but muchas turistas

There isn't many stereotypes, apparently you're very good at building walls and your women are very hairy. Otherwise, it feels like you're out of all controversy and you live your best life in your own small place so no bad feelings.
I'd like to come and see it by myself at some point, what do you recommend to visit as cities and places ?

Visited Lisbon 3 months ago. I really enjoyed the country and the people there. Everyone was friendly, prices are similar to polish and Cascais is beatiful.

Amazing weather, great people, best footballer. CON: Very sad salary, More than 50percent goes to rent. Also, not many people speak English(i think that is a sad thing)
