Billy was a true hero in the end. That is the story of the series. The outsider is the heroes while the "stars" are trash...
Somehow a good reflection of the world. Cuz real heroes like Snowden "die" but people that have a big ego and show everyone they are the stars get billions and easy life.
And in S4 you finally know why the world is connected... with that other dimension. That alle the people died is her fault... but instead of realising that she calls her "father" a monster...
