It's pretty significant. Impact rating matters a good amount as an awper (mostly dictated by opening frags) and Amanek was just not providing that at all. He probably wasn't set up that much for it, but when you're buying a 4750 wep you need to find actual impact, regardless of how much behind the scenes work you are doing. I also think you are heavily overrating the "resources" he is taking. Niko is on the team and still the most obvious star player. The stylistic clash between Niko playstyle and aleksiB calling seems to be way more of a problem than Monesy awping. If you kept amanek and jackz in the team, you basically just have selfless players who aren't good enough to "take the space" in the team. One of them had to go for a better awper.
