if you buy disc version you can buy used games for cheap
cant pirate and you will be stuck paying 70$ for games
You can't pirate though you can share your account with a friend so each of you pay only half for the game.
Best you can do is subscribe to PS Plus and play all exclusives as fast as you can
i bought once ps4 as i had only famicom when i was child, (im 32 not 98) and i paid literally 400 euros in 2 days to try games and only 1 game which i played till the end is outlast, sold it with my account and bought a proper gaming laptop + monitor
console - only if u have a proper gaming rig, just console sucks hards
how do ppl play shooter on consoles LUL
if you can hardly afford it then don't buy it, games are expensive and online isn't free
only buy console if you like to play story games
i have an xbox 360 and ps4 and barely use it, but playing on a huge screen is fun
Do you know of any ps5 games you want to play? Because I bought a ps5 back in october and I used it maybe 5 hours total for Gran Turismo 7.. When you have a good pc the ps5 is just meh
Enjoy paying for online subscription and expensive games.
every console game is basically full price 60 70 €
You should really only consider buying a console if that console has several games exclusively released there that you want to play. It doesn't make much sense, otherwise. These games should already be released and have been reviewed - don't fall for the "oh upcoming game XYZ is going to be the goat game because of some non-gameplay cinematic trailer and sales pitch description".
advice:dont buy ps5,if u spent this money for whore it will be give more profit
It's not that good. My roommate has one
I bought a digital eidition one year ago and it's amazing. Games aren't cheap, but you can alwqys wait for a sale. There are always sales. Also the new ps plus extra sub gives you many free games.
I don't own a console but my impression is this:
No it's not worth it as games are way more expensive and you have fewer options. The only upside is that there are a few exclusive games for certain consoles. However, to pay all of the extra money just for those few exclusive games doesn't seem worth it.
It was quite easy to jailbreak ps4 and use pirated games.
Maybe same with ps5
I bought the digital version on first week and no regrets at all. Games are expensive but sharing account make it affordable (and I buy one or two games every two months so no problem).
I watch everything on the ps5 (from YouTube, to prime video and netflix to Crunchyroll, twitch and such). Great apps.
Loading screens are no issues at all. Fastest thing I ever owned
So if you have the money, go for it. It is great
Honestly just buy a nintendo switch.
If you have a okay PC then the move to a console should only be because there are some exclusive titles you wanna play. There is some great console titles, however there is more and cheaper choice on PC plus there is mods and all the other things you can do with a PC.
The PS5 with a optical drive is mostly so you can use it to play Ultra HD Blu ray movies, however those aren't exactly free so that feature is mostly for movie buffs. I suppose the drive may also come handy for playing older PS games, but not something I have tried.
stick with PC. just buy a controller..
why buy a console that got worse hardware, gets less FPS, has downgraded graphics and the one where you pay 70$ for a single game. the only thing you can buy it for is to play PS-exclusives on day one.
if you got enough of overheating, sell your laptop and buy a pc with normal cooling then.
PS5 + Series S might be the best duo if expensive games bother you
just get a disc version and buy games on second hand market and you get cheap games plus a good console with good exclusives
The differences of the consoles are right there in the names bruh
keep gaming laptop and buy ps5
buy pc gamer
better than console
If you have money to invest in a PS5 get a better PC instead, or get an Xbox because they’re better rn
expected from niko a.k.a the hairdresser
What a stupid thread, noone cares about ps5 unless they want to play exclusive ps games.
-bought game and instantly play
-in most games higher online (but most are stupid)
-new technology for cheap
-games cost hella a lot, ps doesnt have sneak ways like argentina on xbox
-you stick to gamepad
-you stick to performance and optimization of console, most new games are 1440p (upscaled to 4k) 30fps
-you stick to ps4/ps5 games
It's fine, I got it as my first console. Fun to play, I never played on a controller, I do about fine. Of course I don't have a competetive aim. If I want to play COD or PUBG I always hook a mouse and keyboard. That's right, about 15 games support M&KB.
Get an Xbox and GamePass.
Wtf, PS5 dogshit console.
Gaming laptop >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>PS5 every day of the week
i made the switch a few months ago and so far im not looking back. well, kinda, but maybe more about that later.
i gotta begin with admitting that i didnt play any video games in the last years. then elden ring came along and i knew i wanted to play it. my options were: upgrading my pc aka new video card which were crazy expensive back then. or accept that im nothing more but a casual gamer anymore anyway and buy a xbox or ps5. i chose the latter.
im playing god of war right now, and despite this is a ps4 game, it looks good. i realize i dont need much more graphic wise. so the next gen games will look fine for me without a doubt.
the money aspect is a thing: theres no cracked games you can get from the web, but on the other hand you dont have to problem solve, patch, etc to play. you just insert the disc or get it from the store. and play. i payed 50 for elden ring, i think thats the most i payed for a game ever. i dont see me doing this often tbh.
but in ps+ which is super affordable are so many games included. plus i got more games from friends than i can play in the next year i feel. i call it the pile of shame.
biggest minus: if youre into fps games mainly, then youre in for a ride. controller aiming is garbage. but then again, i play from my couch. not desk.
oh, and the horrible design of the console.
i said "kinda" because i havent been playing elden ring that much because i discovered magic arena lately (sadly not on console available) which i enjoy more right now.
tl;dr: i switched and im happy.
Consoles are absolutely clutch. Just plug and play, consistent performance for a whole generation. You can play every AAA title without issue.
Edit - you can't pirate AFAIK but PS+ / game pass gives free games monthly. Plus it's more affordable in general compared to a PC. Less gear, less original cost etc.
Just buy a PS5 controller and use it with your PC
pc best option.
plus there is a free csgo on steam.
Don’t listen to these pc nerds… ps5 is totally worth it! With all the the games u can play like Spiderman, last of us, god of war etc. Also having console is very chill when u just wanna chill in your sofa!
ps5 no csgo = no keep laptop
