bad quality compared to zowie. ec2-a went strong for 6 years while being abused really badly, meanwhile my logitech g703 lost a button every time i dropped it on the floor from my desk by mistake or hitting the desk with it with minimal force (I treated the zowie way way way worse). very bad plastic materials, and bad manufacturing.

Is actually the second one I have, the first had a click issue after 2 years. I just go and buy another if it breaks...I need it to be comfortable to play. I used zowie ec2-b for years...but wireless is a one way road. When Zowie updates their mouse line to wireless, I'll probably switch back to it.

Yeah.... I wanted to try wireless so hard, and I loved the G703, it had a good shape, good weight, good sensor, but the quality... that sucked... So I went back to EC1-C with a mouse bungee. Feels like wireless with the paracord. Actually I had to replace the new zowie after 9 months, had cable issues, turned out the new paracord cables had some issues in the 2021 models, but did not regret going back. Support changed it for me in one week, and Zowie feels much better quality than the Logitech.

I was like wtf when I saw it for 78€ on Amazon, they are selling the EU version for 125€ lol, I thought it was used or some shit but price difference is related to the different version which I dont understand why since its the same product but I am not complaining

2022-07-26 10:43
No difference, only some minor text differences on the box, thats what ive read from people who have this version. I mean its the same product so its understandable that there would be no difference when it comes to the mouse itself
2022-07-26 10:45
german version? does it just say superleicht or what's the difference here
2022-07-26 10:34

People in the comments say that there is some difference on the box in german but thats it, i dont understand why it would be 45 euros cheaper than EU version unless they are trying to get rid of german version because people are “scared” to buy them or whatever idk
2022-07-26 10:38

well that's interesting, luckily got mine new for 86€ a year ago or something it would make sense if it was cheaper when bought from germany as electronics and such seem a bit cheaper there anyway, but if it's just a german version bought from wherever that's weird
2022-07-26 10:44

Probably a lot cheaper for Amazon to import the german version so they are able to sell it for lot less I guess

glorious having bad qc only really applies to the older models, my 2021 model d- wireless doesnt have any of the flimsiness issues that older models did. The only problem is that you cant switch between wired/wireless mode during a game bc of some anti cheat compatibility issues but ik that also razer has it

If u are used to low DPI, higher sens with different scaling in acceleration is not equivalent and might be a lot more harder to control. Snappier, yes but in general you will have a different feel to it. I do prefer more DPI then 400 myself.

2022-07-26 11:15

Yes and no but mostly yes. Better sensor and build quality etc. My Viper 8k got 20k DPI and 8k HZ, using higher dpi results in less input lag etc while a cheap mouse use subpar sensors that malfunctions or aren't as accurate.

As a casual or even pro it doesn't make a difference. Many pros in cs use a 40-70 euro mouses and they aren't in any disadvantage because of that. Mouse material can be cheap or expensive but it doesn't matter unless u have very strog mouse grip. Average user doesn't need more than 2000 dpi. And the accuracy between cencors is so minimal that it is not even possible to notice a difference.

2022-07-26 22:01
Actually, no. The difference in sensors is noticeable by a mile and you don't even have to be a specialist. The difference might be night and day but it might not be big. There are a lot of variants for sensors but many mice use the same one or a similar by design one. Does not mean there is not a difference. Anyhooo, most mice above the 20-30€ range are good enough for gaming, the difference is comparable to the gear of any athlete: If you are just balling with your friends and for fun, dont mind the gear. You can git gud with anything. If you are aiming to be a pro, still git gud with what u got but if you have a chance, explore around and find something that is good for you from the get go and stick with that. There are many products that'll be on par with what is required. The weight, the feel and the grip are imho basically as important or even slightly more important than the sensor. It is also way different to have a laser sensor compared to a regular one. I cba to get any links for this even, I have tested tens and tens of mice myself and I can confirm. There is a difference.

I've got like 30 mice including GPX, Model O etc all the lightweight shit, ended up going back to a FK2, the buttons are the same each time you click them, the build quality is 10/10. the scroll wheel yeah its not the best but you will rarely get a mwheel jump in-game, plus the weight, I just like mice that are 80-100grams.

Have been using the zowie fk2 and fk1 for years and the viper ultimate is very similar to them. Its sized about inbetween them too. the shape is much better than the gpro xs imo but the gpro xs has a shape that will fit anyone. if you really like the shape of the ec1 then get a ec1c. the C versions are worth it. im using a fk1c right now. However, if you want to try something new then get the glorious model D wireless. its a worse clone but with a better scroll, weight and its wireless. if it feels poorly built then return it for another, its a common problem. if you dont want to bother with research get the gpro xs. 20 grams is a huge difference when you feel it in the hand. im thinking of buying the new viper v2 or the wireless xtrfy m42 since i really liekd light wireless smaller mice. probably the m42 since it is not as expensive.

Have modded g305 chargable like g pro superlight, shape is also like g pro and weight is 65g (superlight is 63g) Thank god I didn't buy a g pro, because the shape is not for me lol Gonna print a different shape when I'm not lazy edit: people still use wired mice in 2022 OMEGALUL

Went through 3x G403 Hero with all of them getting double click issues after less than a year. Then another 2x G703 because the shape feels right for me. Again the same. Bought SS Aerox 5 because it's pretty similar shaped. Never going to waste my time and money for Logitech products ever again.

Damn, that’s really unlucky, have had my G403 Hero for over a year now and not a single issue yet
2022-07-27 09:27
xtrfy mz1. after i replaced the usb cable because it was fucking faulty, it's the best mouse i've ever used. light, good sensor (no smoothing at high dpi), and i adjusted to the new grip style immediately. technically my favorite mouse of all time is the IMO 1.1a, but that's significantly heavier than the mz1.

Using G Pro Superlight but aim way better with other cheaper mice like viper mini and ZA13 but "forcing" myself to use this because I paid 120 euro's for it and wireless is nice I guess)

I was using the EC2-C but the LOD is so low that it's not tracking. Don't know if it's defective or not, but I got rid of it. Went back to the superlight and haven't really thought about it much since
