Which of the teams are most likely to succeed after the player break? Navi (99% chance) I think sdy has got a chance to review his mistakes and finally given a timeline till Rio major end to perform and integrate better into the team. NO event to-event pressure all the time and he would be more comfortable as time passes by. Whether or not, they would be able to beat Faze however, is entirely upon their preparation and firepower in crucial games. But for sure, as a team they would be improving quite a lot after the player break. Liquid: ( 95% chance) I think Yekindar signing looks to be as permanent judging by their vlogs, interviews and other videos and it's probably a matter of time before they can 'officially' announce it. TL would probably be the most improved team (both rankings wise as well as eye test) after player break. I expect them to be in top-5 if they all continue to work hard by the end of this season. Maybe win an event even if they are able to work more harmoniously. Furia: (50% chance) I honestly don't know where the team is at and lost a bit of faith in arT as an IGL. With a very good rifling duo of Yurrih and Kescerato and a consistent AWPer (and a good rifler in Saffee) with drop as a young gun, they should have been a top-5 team and reach quarters/semis at the very least of every event. A complete coin toss for me whether Furia would improve, become worse or remain as it is. Astralis: (40% chance) Astralis might perform slightly better due to new teams just formed in player break after a month or two, they'll crash out of top-10 and would be a top-15 team unless Farlig becomes God-tier which is not likely to happen. Vitality: (75% chance if Sphinx confirmed) Unless they get Sphinx, don't see them improving that much and Apex, Dupreeh aren't exactly looking that alive. Misutaa is benched so it would be pretty awkward for them to play with him if they can't get Sphinx. If they do get Sphinx (which is the most likely option), they should be able to improve but it would take some time as Misutaa wasn't exactly put into star positions. G2 (85%) As much as I'd like to meme on them, JKS over Jackz is a very clear CT upgrade and Hunter and JKS both will have their preferred positions on both sides. But, how much Hooxi would be able to get the G2 team (and specifically Niko) and XTQZZZ on the same page is what remains to be seen. Maybe they get one of those honeymoon periods similar to Katowic this year. But, we'll have to wait and see. Ence (10 % chance) Easy to play in native, spanish team but a whole different thing to play in international squads when everyone is closely watching your demos. I think Mopoz was sick but Sunpayus, good but not THAT great. Ence might even drop out of top-10 quickly since they probably are losing both Hades and Sphinx. Safe to say, they won't be improving much after this player break. Cloud9 (35 % chance) As much as I liked them, they seem to have been figured out by all teams and if Nafany doesn't get his openings, they are not able to get many rounds. Their style is still not LAN proven (and it showed it's flaws in Cologne when Nafany had bad games). They need to deal with ideological stuff and how they want to play CSGO as a team entirely and it would take a lot more than the player break to figure it out, maybe even a couple of roster moves. They would probably drop out of top-5 but I think they would still remain inside top-10 as the roster still has a lot of firepower.
