if it wasnt for 64 tick.. MM would actually be very decent, add leaderboards, or visibile elo, and GG. no need for anything else to do on MM tbh. They could do seasonal competitions, rankings, prizes, but Valve wont put that much work into MM xD
I feel like MM is much more enjoyable than FACEIT. I dont really care much about 128tick, but it is a factor that makes sense for some, for utility lineups.
I also think MM isnt done yet.. there is more work to be done and will show in the next weeks, but its just pure speculation.

on lower level (lvl1-3 faceit/ under gn1 mm) mm is more playable, even if you find some toxic russians on mm, you can report or kick him, if the entire team report him for abuse communication or griefing, he will take a ban or begin muted, lvl1-3 in faceit is full of trollers, toxic and beginners, you can report a player for toxicity for 1 milion times, he will (maybe) get ban after 5 months
faceit is usefull at higher level, when you achive global on mm, is more rentable to move on faceit

true as well, if u wanna play high level, it is obvious u gotta move to faceit,
but as a casual i dont like tryharding so much, and playing the same repetitive maps all the time.
well if you are bored on global, you should def move to faceit, but faceit is still then not a better place to play.
even if you reach higher level on faceit, there will be still too many people smurfing, trolling and just being toxic all the time. it just makes no fun and it tests your limits every time. i did not experience lot of difference from lvl 3-10. only after lvl 7 it just got kinda worse with people boosting each other. you literally need to be lucky to get good/ reliable mates when playing with randoms.

The rest about 128 tick vs 64 is hardly noticeable.
In fact i remember the "blind" test video 3klilksphillip did with the 64 vs 128tick and most were wrong, they just related playing better with 128tick to 64 (and that wasnt the case)

mm full of cheaters, slavs who don't use mic, baiters, it's just shit. it just causes stress and isn't fun.
even if valve will add 128tick servers people will still play faceit because of the anticheat

I think the anticheat problem is on the lowest times ever, i mean with cheaters ruining games. Sure there is still people who are getting their games ruined who also have a red TF.
but if u have a green TF, ur more than fine to play.

Valve should add an "e-sport/pro" functionality to the game like what they do with stats, they could make an even larger cash cow, but they are dinosaurs so maybe in 2030?

I have never met any blatant cheaters on FACEIT but I have had multiple games in MM where people are spinbotting. Obviously FACEIT has some cheaters too but at least it's actually possible to kill them. Additionally, I've never had an Overwatch case where the person wasn't spinning or very obviously cheating and it's been way too long since I've gotten XP or a msg for an OW ban.
I rarely get toxic teammates in mm while in faceit it seems like I always get one crazy teammate.
