Bean on toast
Bangers and mash
Are all pretty famous aswell
Fish and chips comes to mind. Bacon and eggs as well, only is that a UK thing.
And there is all the things with beans and the pies, most is pretty heavy food and not exactly great either - or at least not as it is served in many places.
I struggle to really think of something especially English I've had that was really good, the exception being Fish and chips which when done right is really good.
I mean we just take other people's foods and make them with quality produce, plus we have great winter food, decent fast food like chips with like fish or a pie or sausage etc.
Full English breakfast is a classic Chicken Tikka Masala, again we just take other people's food ideas and just make them better because we don't have limitations on produce countries get a bit anal, a bit nationalistic when it comes to their food when in reality in most of the world now, at least the west you can get whatever you want whenever you want however you want, if I want a pizza I can get one, kebab just 5 minutes away, Chinese, Indian etc.
Fish & Chips
I would say our food now days is mcdonalds, curry and kebab. you tend to see a turkish kebab shop around every corner, atleast in my city. We have no national meals, we do have some national cakes i guess but as a real alpha male i dont eat sugary crap.
I would love to try a full english breakfast plate one day
we have plenty of fish n chips pubs here in my city
